Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. That’s just one extra stage per day and we’re already doing half days. I think it could be done pretty easily
  2. I'm finishing up a range north of Abilene, TX and I'm having trouble deciding on a name for it. Anyone got any fun ideas. And I know you guys will keep the names PG.
  3. If you like to tinker or play with things, stay away from the pinned 14.5. Changing out comps is a PITA on 14.5" barrels. I run an 18" on everything because I like one setup and don't practice enough to switch between two. Most of the club and major matches I shoot at go out to 600 yards. I've got a Larue 18" thats sub MOA and works great for me.
  4. Like others have said, load longer. I had this problem with my single stack gun until i had some freebore added to it. Loaded about .010 longer and the problem went away.
  5. Thank you to Mark and the staff for a great match. My vote is Alamogordo for next year, it'll give me a reason to go to Cloudcroft!
  6. Thanks for the bump. I attached a pic of the bullets I currently make.
  7. I used a MC operator last year at SS nationals. 2 piece guide rod and alum MSH with Dawson magwell and made weight by 1.5 oz. Mine was a 45 though.
  8. Thanks for the kind words. I'm going to try and become a forum dealer here shortly. BTW I'm using 4.3gr of 320 @ 1.17 and getting about 169 PF. Its been awhile since I've checked it though. I need to before I start loading for the season.
  9. I saw some at a gander mountain earlier this week in Grand Rapids. But they wanted $35/lb
