  5. after not using the rl 550, i wanted to load 380 with small pistol primers. I used the yellow loading tip and the primers got stuck in the plastic. i had another new one and replaced it but they still became stuck sometimes. I put the blue tipped magazine tube in and turned it so it clicked. The primers completely emptied out of the tube on to the press. The plastic rod that keeps the primers tamped down and the battery primer warning device went on because none of the primers stayed in the tube. Now i KNOW i am doing something completely wrong. Help please. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I read the manual and i still am stumpedGeoffrey P. Radoff,M.D

  11. i am shooting 100gr Hornaday xtp projectiles with 4276 powder. I can't get the powder but i can get reloader 7 anyone have loads they use with this combination?
  12. why do you need to crimp the brass? for a revolver just for fun target practice, is it really necessary? will the setback be problem if not crimped?
  13. i just bought a desert eagle 1911. The trigger is 3.5 pounds our of the box. It is not as smooth as my high end 1911's and i was wondering how to get the trigger as good as one can get it. dont shoot competitively except silhouette rifle and we have 2 pound triggers. Should i purchase a wilson combat trigger and whatever else or have a smith rework the trigger...for three pounds or 3.5 pounds? thanks

  15. I just picked up a 45cal 1911 and i want to improve the trigger. I am used to 2 pound triggers with my rifle silhouette and i want to have installed a high quality trigger. I would like some suggestions. I have read, changing the hammer and other parts is reasonable too. Any suggestions are appreciated and if anyone knows a great gunsmith in the phoenix az area, i would appreciate it
