Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Wish my experience was different. e3 was accurate and recoil impulse felt good. Maybe is was the coating on the acme bullets that made it soot more.
  2. Prima v meter well in my dillon 650 also. Someone else suggested to tap a electric toothbrush to the powder hop to get it to settle quicker. I have not tried it though. I have a lot of prima v, but saw some pressure signs out of my cz p10 and p01. Sport pistol was way easier and consistent one metering.
  3. I was using e3 for a while, but it coated the muzzle end of the guy something terrible. Like I could not see the fiber optic after 1 stage. This was with acme 180 grn. e3 metered ok, and was accurate, but was not impressed with the SD. I was shooting sti with a infinity barrel.
  4. What gr powder are u at.. I am sitting at 172 pf with 4.2 gr of 3e at 1.2 with acme hi-tekm 180gr bullets.
  5. I am at the power factor I want...what grain were u at?
  6. 180gr acme coated bullets. May I need to run the e3 powder closer to max to get rid of the soot. But Ithe seems like it defeats the purpose, and I would imagine it would increase power factor a bit along with more recoil.
  7. Acme coated bullets. I am guessing that either I need a magnum primer, or the powder is too low.
  8. Yes interested in this powder for 40 major also.
  9. I know this is a bit older, but I have been not shot for a year since i have been building my house. I was running e3 in my accurail sti with the infinity sight tracker barrel. I believe i was 3.9gr at 1.2 with acme bullets... e3 powder was clean in chamber, but the end of my gun was filthy. After a stage I could not see my fiber front sight. When the gun is holstered, my pants were all carboned up. Has any one else had this result. I think I want to try red dot, n320, and maybe ramshot competition.
  10. I have run e3 in my 2011 40 limited gun 180 acme with 4.2 gr I'found I remember correctly at 1.2...chamber is fairly clean...the end of gun and fiber sight are coated in carbon. The sight gets dim quick. Not very impressed with e3 on my gun...I do want to try red dot and n320.
  11. E3 is good. Chamber is clean, muzzel of gun is filthy. Pants were turned black from muzzel rubbing on pants. Sd was a bigger spread than i like. 4.3 gr @ 1.2 for 40 major.
  12. I am in the process of ordering some to try. I will post my results....trying to finish up my first nationals for limited right now..
  13. Why would stainless pins be better. The beads are cheaper. It will be mostly for 9 and 40. I am done with all the dust, and Will be moving to wet.

  15. I was talking to a friend about how much I hate the dust from tumbling brass with corn cob media. He recommended that I check out these new brass bright polishing beads. I have checked them out and they look interesting and good. They say they are super efficient and effective. I am sick of the dust getting all over everything including my sinuses, and taking 3+hours. Then there is still dust on the brass which enters my case feeder and dies. Does anyone have any experience with them? https://shootbrassbright.wordpress.com and they also have a facebook page.
