  1. I don't think it is necessarily class that makes the difference as much as experience does. Shooting with people that have a lot of match experience, even if they are a lower class than you, often helps because they (should) be good at stage planning. And since everyone looks at a given stage a little differently, they might see something you don't.
  2. Don't you have access to practiscore too? As of last night, Stoeger Coley Vogel Racaza were separated by 0.87%. As of now it is Racaza Coley Stoeger Vogel Miguez Browning
  3. SS shooter: either no penalty or shoot for no score. I see no support for a bump to open. Personally I would say no penalty. Production: terrible call not supported by the rulebook.
  4. It was definitely fun to watch the battle unfold between the three of them. After Christian had an ugly mishap a couple stages from the end (missed a popper going into a reload, and ended up having to shoot it one handed) I was worried for him. I'm very happy for him. Good job buddy.
  5. I shot stage 11 with 8 A and 12 C. Time is important in this game, but you also should try to shoot them in the middle occasionally.
  6. Had a horrible day 1(83%) but have clawed back a little bit to finish day 2 at 90ish. Making silly/funny mistakes and just shooting like a doofus.
  7. Old style SV: 29 reloadable. I usually go with 28 if I'm gonna reload it though, since it is a touch tight.
  8. Do you have any idea why they aren't making them any more? That is what I have on my current gun and I asked about getting another, and they told me not in production.
  9. Josh is good, but he isn't Mt Rushmore good. No disrespect to the dude at all (I mean come on, he is a world champ and a super nice guy), but if Daniel decided to start shooting open I don't think Josh could win. Horner has got to be without a doubt the GOAT of 3 gun.
  10. Can't make it worse, but that dude is done. New slide time, but the weld might make it last a little longer. My recommendation would be replace it now during the offseason rather than wait. Because when it fully fails in the middle of the season and you are suddenly gun-less, that would be much more unfortunate.
  11. Good luck, he can be pretty slippery. I bet it takes a whole week, that slimeball.
  12. Delete, missed that they were single pouches.
  13. I don't think so.. @Aric is it your new or old one that is a 9mm? Or both? If mine is ready in February it will be 14 months. I’m expecting March though. What are you shooting now? I thought it was an SVI in 38. I know it’s loud! 9mm so I don’t have to chase brass.
  14. I think what a lot of it comes down to is that so many 38 shooters think their guns are flatter and softer than a 9mm, because of the higher charge weight. But if you use slow powder in 9mm similar to what you would in a 38, then all of the sudden your 9mm feels great. I'm loading 9 grains of HS6. I have buddies loading 10.5 grains of AA7, or 9.5ish of 3n38. Use slow powder, and your 9mm will feel just as good.
  15. I would say most before I have never tried them. They have always shot 124s, so why change. Some (the minority if I were to guess) tried 115s but preferred 124s for one reason or another. 115s get a lot of talk on Enos, but you have to remember that we are a small group of the larger shooting population.
  16. And you can still buy new 10mm guns, doesn't mean it isn't a defunct market in day to day terms. How many boxes of 38 Super(let alone comp) do you think a retailer like sportsmans sells in one day of operation, compared to 10mm? How about 10mm compared to 40? Compared to 9mm? Coffin, meet nail.
  17. BUT MAH SUUPAA Cheaper and better performing.. seems better to us, but apparently we are wrong. At least the super shooters think so.
  18. If it is his current gun, it could be an old one
  19. Well there it is folks, 9mm is officially taking over in Open. In just two short years 9mm went from the definite underdog (39% vs 60%) to dominant (54% vs 45%). Fight me.
  20. FIFY That is the exact reason. Lower slide weight, more static weight, and centered. My gun is balanced about the front of the trigger guard. A steel magwell would move it back even further.
