Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've emailed and hit them up on Facebook, with no response. Any idea how to actually buy something from them. I didn't see the DS specifically called out on their janky website...
  2. I pinged them on Facebook but didn't hear back as to whether they made one for the A5. If you don't mind, do you remember how much it was?
  3. Anyone have a lead on a diffusion choke for the A5 (Invector DS system)? The only one I can find is from Briley, and it's $85 + shipping directly from them.
  4. Just wanted to confirm, 24C and Armaspec 45 degree Ambi work well together. I actually flip the right side lever around so that it's 180 to the longer lever (right handed shooter). With my short thumbs, it makes it so I can just sweep my left finger down to engage the safety, works really well and a lot faster for me.
  5. Wanted to come back and report. I ordered 3 of the new pads and put them on my "rebate" mags that finally came 14 weeks after I turned the rebate in. Installation was easy. Mags loaded up fine, no whacking necessary. All of mine are tight, getting 23 rounds in each, but I can't imagine them loosening up enough to get another in. On the first range trip I had a couple problems: 1)On one, only once, the follower/spring bound and wouldn't advance. I whacked it on my leg a couple times and it came free. I haven't been able to repeat it, so I chalk it up to "break-in". 2)When doing "combat" reloads (slamming the mag home so the slide stop releases) and having a half full mag, the first round tends to nose dive and leave you with an empty chamber. When the mag is full, it's not a problem. That said, I'm super happy with them. I haven't been able to get to a competition yet, but training with them has gone well. I won't use them loaded to 10 rounds for IDPA because of the above problem, but I have other mags for that. Thanks Taran and crew for making a great product!
  6. I don't see them! Are they just under the same names as the old ones, or are they off somewhere else?
  7. New style are actually done, and I've got some black ones currently being anodized. They'll be available by friday. Sweet! I'll keep an eye out (don't see them yet). Any chance we can get a guinea pig coupon?
  8. Taran, just got my "rebate" mags from S&W, and I was looking at adding TTI base pads. How soon are the new style pads going to be available? Or should I just go ahead and order the old style? Big fan, but don't have the scratch to order twice...
  9. That is crazy! It is funny reading the other comments, but when a lot of a competition comes down to how fast you can reload a shotgun, the proof is in the quad-load.
  10. I'm glad I found this thread when I did. I just took a dremel to my JM Pro a couple nights ago to facilitate quads, but after initial trials, realized I was going to need to go more aggressive. I'm not sure if I'll go quite as deep as JonF, but definitely much more than most...as long as it still functions... It still works, right Jon? Oh, and did you actually grind down into the mag tube at all? The last thing I want is to do is mess up the follower catch... Anyway, glad I'm not treading un-charted paths anymore. Thanks!
  11. Thanks guys! I'm ordering a couple 771's and am going to roll the dice and try a couple of these: http://www.amazon.com/Storm-USPSA-Competition-Magazine-Pouch/dp/B00GWZB8G2/ I looked for some Big Dragons, but they were running about $25 and no fast shipping (I did find them for $15 on one site, but I'm not sure they would have come before winter!). Thanks again!
  12. I recently picked up a used EAA Witness Match in 38 Super. I had been looking for a CZ style gun for competition use for a while, and this guy came at a good price with reloading dies. My problem: I can't find any mag pouches that will fit the 38 Super magazines. My BladTech double stack from my 9mm is wide enough, but (suprise!) a few mm too short. I looked at the 45 Glock pouch and it was long enough, but way too wide. Any suggestions (and links) would be helpful. My google-fu has been failing me so far.
