Thanks for the replies. My setup is just a hornady lnl with hornady dies. I don't have factory crimp dies, I hear mixed opinions on them. If I take the barrels out to plunk test the rounds they drop 2/3 of the way in. I think I'm going to call the company today to see if they will exchange them for something else. I don't want to have to buy a die to resize 2000 bullets I just bought. In my opinion, I paid for a finished bullet, loading them should be all I have to do. Regarding loading them short, I don't know how short I can go without driving the pressure up too high. Thanks.
