Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. That is correct, on Sunday they did the same. There was only 1 RO in the bay so we helped out by using the ipad and then helped him with getting things copied over to the paper. The same thing the 2nd RO would have done in the cases of the other bays. Why the bay was down one RO I am not sure nor did I ask. We also did self reset all day sunday.
  2. That stinks...we had a 6 person squad and everything went pretty smooth. The only roadblock was on a smaller stage, one of the ROs did not show up so we ended up helping out with scoring to keep things moving.
  3. I had this issue with Tripps in the past, couldn't get them fixed. The fix came from moving to Chip McCormick power mags that have a lip on the magazine that helps keep the round in place. On the Tripps, it was an open space for the round to slide forward of the magazine.
  4. I put the IPSC magwell on from Dawson on my gun that was blended for S&A recently and didn't have to do any blending. It might be just how much the S&A was opened up or I just got lucky.
  5. Awesome! Thanks for that information! I agree with you on the thought that maxwells can get too big...I have seen some that look out of place.
  6. Thanks for the info. I guess with Dawson doing free shipping it is atleast checking out.
  7. Anyone have any idea of how the ipsc magwell compares to a S&A magwell? I have that on my 1911 right now and I am pretty quick with reloads but looking for something that may be a bit more forgiving when I am a little off on being lined up. Many a mags have been sacrificed to the ground when binding occurs.
