Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I also had to replace the extractor, its spring and pin. I added a +4 tube. Should have done a +6. It runs great with those two mods. I just put on a compact stock. Haven't shot it with the new stock
  2. SC Thank you for those suggestions. I have been looking for the 9mm but have yet to find one "in stock".
  3. Don't want to hijack this thread but where can these SPS Panteras be found?
  4. I pulled out my 2013 28inch tube 712 ALS for a three gun match two days go. The 712 ran like a champ. This was my girlfriend's first 3 gun match. She liked the shorter length of pull of the adjustable stock and didn't even notice the recoil during the match. We shared the gun and fired about 120ish rounds total. 6 of those were full power slugs with the rest being Federal bulk pack traveling 1200 fps. I have been shooting the stoeger m3000 for the last two seasons and forgot how nice the CZ was to shoot. The girlfriend didn't care for how the stoeger fit her and cast her eye the on the CZ. The rest is history, I may not be getting it back!
  5. Another +1 for the Benelli extractor/spring upgrades! replaced those (along with the extractor pin) and fired about 50 rounds of various Win, Fed, and Rio shells without malfunctions. Ejection was very strong. The gun even cycled some Fed 7/8 ounce loads! Those particular empties dribbled out of the ejection port. That was a nice surprised I doubt I ll use those rounds in a match but, it was a confidence booster.
  6. I'm finding that my 24inch M3K has also deveoped extraction and ejection problems. The gun was perfect for the first few matches shooting Rio 23/4 dram 7.5 at 1150 fps. The federal equivilant load and the Federal and Rio 3 dram loads traveling 1200 fps with the same payload. The last two matches had failure to ejects begin to crop up. Went to the range last Friday with all of the above loads and experienced Failure to extracts, failure to eject ( the empty was trapped between the fresh round on the lifter coming up and the top of the receiver). Also a few failure to ejects with the classic ejection port giving me the middle finger "stove pipe". Going to go Jesse's route of replacing extractor parts with Benelli. I really have enjoyed this gun and hope this will cure its issues.
  7. Running a stock M3K with 24" tube. Backup is CZ712 ALS 28"
  8. I ran them in my Stoeger M3000 at a 3-Gun match yesterday. They worked perfectly! I was using the 2 3/4 dram 1/1/8 OZ #8 Target Load running at 1150 fps. these were very soft shooting. made it very easy to transition from target to target. I Havent tried them in a gas gun yet. Hope this helps.
  9. I have used a 28 inch ALS with a Nordic +4tube for half dozen matches. My shotgun likes the Wal Mart federal bulk pack going at 1200+fps. Keep an eye one that adjustable comb, after awhile it works its way loose and gives the gun a little room to move against you face.
  10. I called CZ a few weeks ago about just purchasing a 22 inch barrel for my 28 inch 712 als. They replied that the barrels are "fitted" to the gun. There has been reliability issues when placing a second barrel on a 712 receiver.
  11. The M3K is the "IT" gun right now. But I shot a team shotgun match last weekend and the 712 held its own. I will continue to run this gun for this years 3 gun season. Its been a great gun
  12. Thanks u for you replys. I will check the local GM. online shows that they have them in camo versions... Eh! The search continues. Thank you again for your help.
  13. I have seen the 28 in barreled 3000, does anyone know where to find the 24 in version?
  14. I have had very good luck with Federal Bulk pack at Wal-mart. These are used in my CZ 712.
