Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. You might look at the http://www.mrbulletfeeder.biz/%C2'> Funnel/Expander I just ordered one for my 650 as it should be .357 as my lead bullets are being swaged with the stock expander. The dillon expander works great for the normal FMJ bullets. I haven't received the expander yet to test it out. I attempted to use my 38/357 expander but the die length doesn't work for 9mm.
  2. Thanks for the offer (more of the exceptional customer service). I already talked with Dillon support (they are the best). What other company can you call and talk with a live person and have your issue fixed and the parts on the way in 30 seconds.
  3. I just started loading 45-70 on my 650 with the large rim of the 45-70 doesn't leave much metal on the shell plate. I just broke the 45-70 shell plate priming one of the cases. I can't see loading anything with a bigger rim on a 650 unless Dillon was to make the sell plates thicker.
  4. I would really recommend the eneloop AAA Ni-MH Pre-Charged rechargeables. They hold a charge well over a year and I have never had one leek on me. If your in freezing conditions or on an expedition you will need to go with lithium batteries. For around the house these are the way to go. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UG41XW/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  5. Dillon is the best.. I love my 650 but I am still lusting after a 1050, even with the support only lasting a year the gear is solid!
  6. I ordered all of the parts to load 45-70 on my 650 from Brian, my 1895sbl arrived (it was on order since June) now I am looking at it, it's not the normal 5 minute conversion. This is a conversion that looks like a big conversion. The case feeder needs to be updated with a new plastic part that holds a new micro switch. The drop tube is changed, along with the spot that it connects to the press. It looks like a long conversion.
  7. I am sure that you can put your old ones up for sale and they won't last long if you have the correct pricing. :-) It seems like one can never have enough tool heads.
  8. I left some running in my tubler for just over a week and it pulled most of the nickle off that batch.
  9. They load in my 650 just like 9's. I then have to pull them apart. I need to to setup a jmorris type rig (he has the best toys) to prevent that from happening.
  10. After using the 650 for a few years have you found the SDB a useful addition to your 650? I have a 650 and I keep on looking at a 1050 to dedicate to 9mm.
  11. I would love you 45ACP small primer. It's much quicker to swap the 650 from 9mm to 45 if don't have to swap over to large primer. If I am already running large primer it's then time to load 45ACP with large primer. Small primers are just fine for me. Plus at this time I have 10K small primers and all of the local shops are our of large pistil primers at the time.
  12. I use my super swage on 9mm all the time. They are going to make an adaptor for 9mm like the 45 one to make it a little easier.
