Kroil is what I used after other cleaners seemed to have cleaned the barrel. Lead slivers came out. It was a ton of work - it is in a les bear 45acp that is a 1.5" match fit. The thing was amazing until I started loading the lead. Accuracy remained good. But I don't want to work so long or damage the barrel (early) I ordered the Lewis lead remover.. But it should be so hard to clean. Sent from my iPhone Jt

I mistakenly loaded a bunch Penn hard cast (12BHN) and think I am getting some flashing that is causing a bunch of leading. Just wondering if anybody has tried heating the barrel to soften the lead ? Jt Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
