Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Keep trying to PM you on the 10 Dillon Small Primer Tubes...  using my laptop this time and it still says you cannot receive messages.  Was first to reply about them and did send you an email.  I hope I didn't get bumped as I see there is another interested in the tubes.  Ready to pay via PayPal gift if you would like to provide your PayPal email

  2. Talk about a short turn around time! Looks great even before finishing! Congrats on that purdy pistol!
  3. +1 for this.....my first 80 series tricked me once or twice till a quick Google search showed me the user error that was accruing......now what did we do before Google?....actually ask our friends....sounds like bs to me
  4. First - Thank you everyone of your time spent with giving input Second - Well here we are about 2 months after the shoot and I have to say that I did have fun. There were very few shotgun reloading stages. Lucky me, that it was a very pistol heavy match which plays into my USPSA Limited strengths. I met some fantastic people who were more than willing to help me with anything I had questions on. Despite the newness of my shotgun...I rocked that area. Surprisingly the area that I had an issue on ( only on 1st stage ) was my rifle. Despite having all my USMC Infantry background, I actually didn't get much work in with it after I rebuilt it and all the work I did get in was simply sighting it in. I never got the change to get rapid target engagement or scope adjustments on the fly with the whole new setup to include scope since my range only has static rifle for now ( action rifle is being built ). Despite the trouble on the 1st rifle stage.....I still took 9th in my first 3gun....Not too shabby. Thanks again to everyone and I will say that one lucky police officer got my 930JM Pro for a steal, I sold it to him for a fantastic price and it was only used for that one match and 2 practice sessions. I had to be real with myself and since I only get 1 Saturday off a month and I use that for USPSA matches, I cannot keep up with 3 gun until my Lt retires and I get weekends off Figured I would help someone out who wanted to get into 3 gun and was wanting to do it on a budget so off the shotgun went.
  5. My birthday USPSA match at Dundee. Finished first in Limited U but the day didn't feel good. Smoothness was missing and my mag change is a strong point except for this day. Still had fun but.....as always....there is something to learn and take away to the next practice. PivotHead glasses gave up on me same day. Of course.......they work now but during the match....only recorded 1 second of each stage
  6. Well my first 3-Gun was yesterday for the Robert Libke Memorial here in Oregon. The video of my day is below....be gentle :-) Didn't do too bad although I wish I would have gotten some more rounds down range with my AR in a non static setting but Tri-County doesn't have their action rifle side open yet.
  7. 31st of August.....I was able to snag a double stack caddy so I can load 2 at a time...now I am working on the loading since it isn't as easy as I would like it to be . Thank you for the offer now I think I will toss some in a dump pouch for the dreaded missed shot so I don't run out.
  8. 7/26/14 Dundee Match. Last stage... Man.... Well you will see
  9. +1 tto this.... I load all my cast at 1.160 and have no problems with them ever. My wife and I run CRP Edges from DP and that seems to be the perfect length for us and lead. This has the bullet hitting the ramp between 1/2 & 3/4 of the way up so no fear of the dreaded U on the lead bullets indicating it's hitting the bottom of the ramp.
  10. I looked at those for my two CRP Edges.....would love to try before I buy though....no one has them around here
  11. Oh I imagine....However, I do not remember that specific powder popping up in the discussions for good 40 major powder.
  12. Quoted - two sentences from your great information I must live in the wrong state.....I haven't seen any powder in that quantity not even Triple 7
  13. Just my .02.....read the story behind STI and SVI....long and short of it is....2 guys start making custom gun together....after a while....one wants to make super custom and the other wants to make less custom but more available to the everyday shooter.....they split and now you have STI and SVI.......as I said SUPER SHORT AND CONDENSED VERSION! You get what you pay / wait for. Personally my wife and I run CRP Edges from DP and they are great for us. Do I want an SVI...Yes....Do I see where some things on an STI fall short....Yes. However, I do have but dont want to spend the money on an SVI when the STI is doing me right as of this moment. As soon as she does me wrong....check out the Classifieds....there will be a screaming deal
  14. Collecting old spent primers... hmmm. Have you found a use for them yet? Have you watched the videos of the guys "reloading" their primers.....SCETCHY !!! But hey there is a small market for them
