  1. The 70-80 fps loss I am talking another it before and after same barrel. So it is showing 8-9 Power Factor loss from 1150fps 115g
  2. Friend does cnc slides and barrel cuts at Pew Pew CNC. I remember him saying that one of his was 70-80 FPS loss.
  3. I like an add on ratchet on outer belt with regular inner belt. Instead of using the inner belt like normal use it like it doesn't work and it slides. When you tighten the outer belt it tightens the inner belt and does not bunch up.
  4. I like Brazos simple designs. I've seen D2 Customs do some classic looking guns.
  5. The factory firing pin spring is extra extra extra strong. Use a wolf extra firing pin spring or one from a wolf recoil spring pack. I found out Egw makes two style of sear springs. I put a Brazos trigger in my Prodigy and later ordered the same kit for the 2011 I'm building only to get a different style sear spring
  6. I have a 4.25 prodigy and like 147 reloads with sport pistol . I also like 150g Federal factory loads in it.
  7. I had similar with my 4.25 with Steel Cheely grip. I picked up the aluminum main spring housing and I like the balance of it like that
  8. Major power factor is a huge difference between open and limited optics in my opinion
  9. Give them a call or email they just had some made when I got one. They were great to deal with . They called it a 45 degree racker. I havet had the chance to put it on mine yet to try it out.
  10. I will put one up as soon as I get it back.
  11. I got this one from Accuracy X for my Brazos slide.
  12. You are correct Steel grip would be too heavy for IDPA. My 4.25 Prodigy was 39ounce with magazine stock grip. It was too heavy with steel Cheely grip
  13. I'm 3.5g sport Pistol. 1.14 Precision Delta 147 Plated 132pf in 4.25 Prodigy 150g Factory Syntech went 135pf in the same gun.
  14. Ive got a Tevo thumbrest to try once I get this one together. I am going to try it out with optic racker or just dryfire with double sided tape before I drill holes in it.
  15. Don't Velcro the inner belt to itself. Put it underneath itself so it kind of slides . Put outer belt on and tighten with latch. No more bunching
  16. I like Altra Lone Peak high tops also.
  17. I had similar results with Brazos trigger. I checked that both legs of the sear are contacting and installed it along with their disconnector. I haven't touched it. Mine is 2.2lbs with a 19lb hammer spring . I liked his trigger set up so much I got another one with one of Brazos frames and slides. Great people to deal with.
  18. I put an aluminum Cheely main spring housing on my 4.25 Prodigy with steel Cheely grip. It helped it balance a little bit. I am building a 5" also
  19. They are legal in USPSA. Depending on the gun you could do one.
  20. Can you do a frame mount thumb rest? Make sure your magazine bases limit your magazine from damaging your ejector.
  21. Are you measuring this balance with loaded mag or no mag. Thanks my 4.25 prodigy with steel grip aluminum magwell aluminum main spring housing shoots great and is balanced close to that point unloaded
  22. I have a 4.25 Prodigy. It works great. You can upgrade alot for the $1k difference of a Staccato. I would buy Master Piece Arms over Staccato if I was not wanting to upgrade and do work on the Prodigy. At the end of the day they are all great guns
