Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use ranier 230 gr plated loaded to 1.250 with 4.4 grain of TG and get good accuracy and reliable cycling from my RIA. I believe I'm running a 18.5lb spring in it. I don't have any chrono data for you though. That is the next tool on my list.
  2. I was in a similar situation being right handed and left eye dominant. I was able to overcome that problem with practice. First with tape over the left lens then just conscious effort. Every once in a while now I will get two floating images but a few quick blinks and I'm back to one picture.
  3. Hello all. I've been shooting occasionally for the last 12 years. About 2 years ago I started trying to get to the range twice a month, for the last 7 months I've been shooting weekly (more often than not). I had plateaued with my target shooting so I decided to start shooting IDPA to change things up about 3 months ago. Shortly after that I decided to get into reloading to better feed my habit I mean hobby. A buddy of mine gave me an old Lyman ST press minus the primer and primer catcher and an old beam scale both of which seem to perform fine for where I am in my experience right now. Fortunately I was able to purchase most of what I needed before the sky fell and both equipment and components became scarce. Right now I'm reloading for 9 and 45. Down the road I plan on getting set up for the rest of the calibers that I own. Lurking this forum a bit has provided me with some good info so I thought I might join and make it a more regular stop.
