Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I came to the same conclusion. If a deal looks too good to be true ... it probably is.
  2. Shooting steel is what got me started with reloading! I think my Walther P22 has a nice ergonomic feel. Not as nice a shooter as the Ruger, but still fun to shoot.
  3. Glad you decided to join ... You'll be glad you switched to Dillon. I've been extremely satisfied with my 1050.
  4. Clutch ... are you sure that bench is strong enough to hold up that vise? That's why he mounted it over the leg....it's more stable! The vise must be made from depleted uranium! I just noticed that the bench leg looks bent.
  5. I've also seen high primers when I didn't fully swage / ream crimped primer pockets. I use edge of my vernier calipers (ie straight edge) to "feel" high primers. I usually set those off to the side for plinking.
  6. Clutch ... are you sure that bench is strong enough to hold up that vise?
  7. Sorry ... You lost me when you posted the little "lovey" smiley and the artsy font ...
  8. Overwhelmed by all the content here ... :-)

  9. I'm amazed and humbled by all the motivated people squeezing every inch of space they could for reloading! What does everyone think about pinning a topic just for "plans"? Just thought I'd throw my bench design into the mix ... using the carriage bolts and the "fake" lap joints makes the bench solid, but easily to disassemble. The design breaks down into a 1 pc top, 2 end leg units, and 2 foot rails.
  10. I agree in principle with single stage press concept, but I bought the 1050 right off the bat ... once I worked through each stage with a single round it was pretty easy. It's really satisfying to hear the rounds drop in the bucket!
  11. Trying to start used brass business ...

  12. Just joined the forum ... Hi y'all!
