Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The 2019 Missouri State Steel Challenge Championship is scheduled for June 14-15 at the COPS range near Rolla, Mo. Registration is open on Practiscore: https://practiscore.com/2019-missouri-steel-challenge-championship/register
  2. Amazon has the Kindle 7" on their site at $39.99, too.
  3. I got a Kindle Fire for $35 on Black Friday and we used it today at our monthy USPSA match. It was an outdoor match on a cloudy day and it worked very well. Easy to see and the color and speed was a nice improvement over our Nooks. Also, no rooting. Installs from the the Amazon app store. We use Dropbox to move match results to a PC and that works fine also. You do have to "sideload" Dropbox, but the apk file is available on their website. I'm anxious see how much of an issue a bright sunny day will be. I hope Amazon does another $35 sale.
  4. It appears the problem occurs when you sync to an already existing match. I sync'd a squad nook to one that we had not used and the bonuses and penalties came across fine. I then sync'd a second squad to it and that squads b/p's did not come across. I updated the mantis report. Wayne
  5. Using 1.2.4 for a Steel Match we are still losing penalities and bonuses when we sync to another device. I added a bug report (#238) to Mantis. This is the same problem reported in #216.
  6. I've tried that but doesn't change the device sync code. Can the device name be used instead of the code to sync?
  7. Has anyone encountered duplicate sync ids on different devices? This weekend we ran into a NST that had the same sync id as the Asus tablet we use as our registration master. I tried uninstalling Practiscore and installing again on the NST (1.0.15) but it still had the same sync id. I haven't found a way to manually change it. Wayne
  8. I have revolver and new shooters that sometime exceed the 100 second time. Then make the magic number 200 seconds before it does the pop up..... The point I am trying to make is that today you could have someone input a time of 202.4 instead of 20.24 and it would accept the incorrect time without posting a notice. If the shooter or score keeper does not look at the time or hit factor and notice that its abnormal then that shooter will end up with an incorrect score. How about jPractiscore assuming 2 deciaml places and not entering the decimal place at all. It would require entering the 20 seconds as 2000, but I thibk it would be less error prone than entering the decimal. Maybe make it an option. Wayne
  9. I'm having the same problem. I'll try going back to 1.0.12. Wayne
  10. Our club just bought 5 new Nooks from WalMart (79 each). 4 of the 5 didn't have the AC adapter. They have a little sticker on the back of the box over the contents that list only the Nook and cable.
