Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I recently switched to Delta Point Pros on both of my Open Guns. I had nothing but problems with both of them. Going off in the middle of a stage, going dim and not being able to get them to brighten up and having to replace batteries every match. They are both off being repaired right now. I put my RTS2s that I had very little issues with back on both of my guns. The RTSs are staying on and the DPPs are going up for sale as soon as they come back. The point is, I don’t think anything is 100% reliable but I’ve had the best luck with the RTS2s and I like the 8 moa dot better than the 2.5 on the DPPs
  2. I have one that I sent in for repairs. It would work fine for around 5 min. then would start blinking and shut off. I thought it was the battery too but it wasn’t.
  3. I have several 170 MBX mags they all hold 30. You have to want the last round though. They've all run perfect although I only start with them loaded to 30 + 1. I wouldn't advise reloading to them with 30.
  4. I believe it's the stock thumbrest that comes on the DVC. At least the first DVCs that I saw had those on them.
  5. I have several. How many do you need.

  6. Delta Point Pro 2.5 MOA on a CZ Custom milled Shadow top end.
  7. I was having the exact same issue. I insisted I was riding the safety and not dragging my thumb on the slIde. My gunsmith talked me into welding a thumb shield between the safety and the slide. The next match my gun ran perfect and I haven't had a problem since. A set of Swensen or PT safetys would accomplish the same thing. Your issue may be something different but apparently that was my problem.
  8. So you like Top Fuel huh? It really is more fun. We all knew you'd see the light. No apology needed.
  9. I've been using the GG for a few years. I don't think I could adjust to anything else now. I feel like it helps me get a firmer grip and it helps me to get a lot of leverage on the gun.
  10. I get 170 PF with 8 grns. of HS6 behind 124 Xtreme HPs. 8grns. should be somewhere between 165 and 170 with 124 PD FMJs
  11. Funny...I thought the same thing. Yep, only a lineman would catch that.
  12. I suspect at 1.15 OAL and the DVC cycles with 5.0 grns of WAC you are probably shooting 9mm.
  13. You will probably make major power factor using 6.8 - 7.0 of WAC (9 major). Unless you really don't care about how you place in the match, shooting minor PF in open puts you at a pretty big disadvantage scoring wise. I think you will find that shooting major is really not significantly harder and maybe even easier to track the dot because the additional gas produced with more powder will allow the comp to do its job and the gun will stay flatter.
  14. Give Limcat a call. They can make one for you. I had the same issue with a gun I had an old RTS mounted on.
  15. I've cracked two PT aluminum grips using them on 9 major open guns. They are great grips and I loved the way they felt but the aluminum doesn't hold up on an open gun. Get the SS, you'll be happy with it.
