Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Have my first pair of Rudy’s and am about to get the prescription put in the inserts… can you share or point me to something on how to insert them without scratching?
  2. I am having the same issue... timeout on my tablet.. works fine from my phone Nexus 7 Android 5.1.1 Practiscore 1.4.0
  3. I would agree with all of that... great format great match... my only complaint is that my really cool shirt seems pretty darned tight for a 2x.... hopefully I can stretch it out some as time has shown that me shrinking doesn't happen that often looking forward to next year! I'll just echo these comments. Half-day format was great. I had another event that weekend that I was attending and that kept me from spending too much time away from it. And absolute spot on on the shirts. Not just the fact that they were an active-weave type material (rare for match shirts) but also the graphics design was great. These were quite reasonably priced but I wish more matches would catch on. Usually I'd be willing to spend the extra for a GOOD shirt.
  4. My buddy and I wound up on 2 different squads.. 25-Sat PM/Sun AM 29-Sat PM/Sun AM Anyone interested in swapping with one of us so we can squad together?
  5. my CED 7000 doesn't pick up dry fire consistently .. however if you have an Ipad or IPhone the IPSC Shot Timer application allows you to create profiles for the sounds it looks for and it using that it works great for me
  6. I have been using Lee turret presses since 1990... have loaded thousands of rounds and am very happy with them. I bought the classic 4 hole press a year ago and currently use it to load 9mm, 45acp, 223, and 308 all in auto index mode... Which means I can load 150-200 per hour even for the rifle calibers... not bad at all for the investment and as opposed to the fully progressive presses it takes me seconds to switch between calibers. With the affordability of the Lee dies etc I have all 4 calibers setup completely with powder measures so all I have to do is swap turrets fill the powder measure and start loading. In short the Lee turret press works well for me and can easily load as much ammo as I can afford to shoot
  7. Was great shooting with all of you this weekend! I really appreciate the hospitality and hope to catch up with you guys again... I am planning on going to the Florida Championship and Area 6 matches this year so maybe we will catch up there Bob
  8. Ok I have given into the temptation What time should I be at the range? Don't mind helping setup or whatever...
  9. You can register Saturday morning. Round count will be around 100. Fee is 20$, normally is 15$, but we have to send more to USPSA for this type of match. Match will be done between 12:00 and 1:00. Classifiers are: 06-06 99-52 03-09 99-61 09-08 I hope you can make it out...our range is still under construction, but we have good people. Grand Master Deon Martin is the range owner. You will be welcomed. Wayne Awesome thanks for the info. I have just about convinced myself
  10. Do I need to register before hand, what are the fees, round count, which classifiers are you going to do and how long do you think the match will run. Thanks!
  11. I'm from the Tallahassee area but will be in Leesburg that weekend and am considering squeezing this match in. I would love to get some more classifiers under my belt. Who do I contact for details?
  12. I don't live too far from Frostproof and this sounds awesome... am new to Practical shooting so not ready to shoot but would love to come on Saturday and check it out. Is that an option? I have heard that parking may be an issue and there may be shuttles running from somewhere? Any info would be great!
