Looks for Target

Looks for Target (4/11)

  1. I took my daughter to see it friday afternoon.....I had initially planned on sleeping thru it in the theatre to catch up on some sleep, LOL, but ended up watching it as it was pretty good.
  2. Your welcome. It would be nice to have the stats updated bi-monthly as you say, but with clubs still filing paper results and those then having to be input manually, not much more can be done to automate the process. The fees associated with classifiers must need paid as well before the clubs results get posted, so there is alot in the background that has to happen with the given limited resources at hand. I try to make the calc as accurate as possible and 99% of the time I am right, so that is good If you find an error please let me know what error you find.......dont just send me an email saying the calc is broke......that dont tell me alot, cause when I check, its not broke and is working just fine, tell me what happened and why you think its broke, an explaination as to the trouble is always helpful, LOL I did see a small error in hit factor, but it wasn't worth bring to you... it was like .2 of a percent/ I will check all my results against what you have and send you a report if I see something that looks like it needs fixed. Thanks again BTW I take the time to look at sponsors and click them to help keep you running. Best, Jim most I can get within +-.002/3 your gonna see that because I use php's number_format to limit the decimal places to 4 only and it rounds it off, php actually calculates out to 14 decimal places, LOL . number_format("$_my_variable",4) . I could probably change the php configuration on the server to 4 decimal places then I wouldnt have to use php's number_format. But then I would have to change several hundred lines of code and I dont feel like doing that....

  4. sorry to hear that...Cancer is a bad thing, my father past away 2 years ago from pancreatic cancer at 51, not an easy thing to watch someone go thru! and I wish no one ever has to be witness to that sort of thing.
  5. one other thing you can do is contact your electric company for a list of suppliers, the one you have may not necessarily be the cheapest, I have duke energy for an electric company, but they have like 9 or 10 diferent electric suppliers each with there own rates, and they vary by the time of the year, some higher some lower, some lower than your current rate during summer months, but higher in winter months, check into this...might be able to lower your costs that way.....I was able to save about $600.00 this past winter by switching mine.
  6. Calculator now supports all the 08 classifiers for Limited-10 Division also, All divisions are now sponsored by some great vendors with some awsome products for the shooting community.
  7. I remember when we were qualifying on the mk19, this female MP was on the platform and lettin'er rip when the front legs of the tripod came out of there pucks and slid forward off the platform, she stayed on it as the weapon was going nose first over the front, firing 40mm grenades into the ground directly in front of us, shit we were scattering, shut the range down for awhile while EOD removed the unexploded ordnance,LOL.
  8. One thing I wanted to do with mine was put drainage into the bays, Ive been to several ranges where the bays hold water and were not built with anykind of grade at all to them for runoff.... in this case a small curtain drain around the edges would help to rid laying water quickly. Wouldnt take much an inch or 2 of grade over the length of the bay in the wrong direction means alot!....could mean the diference between a mosquito farm or a dry shooting range
  9. That would sound about right, for awhile I was working with a friend of mine in excavation, putting in septic systems, basements and such and the minimum we had on the excavator was 100.00hr at 10hr minimum, so 1000.00 a day basically. The good thing about that is I am efficient on every piece of equipment CAT and BOBCAT make On a good day I could probably rough in 3-4 bays the size your talking about and at todays fuel prices you dont want to waste time, you want to make every bucket count.....LOL I have access to a D5,D7 dozer and a 315 excavator anytime I need them, just have to pay for fuel oh yeah, I didnt figure insurance was gonna be too off the wall, but haven't talked to anyone about it, I currently have 1 million liability coverage and it's like 250.00 year or so........you never know when some dumbass nut is gonna say.....oh look theres a groundhog hole, then step in it and break his f*#kin leg......LMAO
  10. Ethanol comes from more than just corn, its a byproduct of fermentation(a renewable resource)
  11. LOL, I made the changes locally, but forgot to upload the new data, that was real qute now it's calculating 08's for Open Division, sorry
  12. Could anyone point me in the right direction for building a range, requirements needed, insurance, some of the technical side of things maybe. A couple of years ago my father passed away and I got 30 acres of the 100 acre farm, I keep liability coverage on it, but I'm sure there would be more involved than that... how many bays needed, layout design....would 30 acres even be enough? what else????
  13. If automakers would design more cars that truly benefit from the use of ethanol, then all that needs to be done is to make more BEER.....then you have endless supply of ethanol
  14. hsmith is right, doesnt do us anygood to tell him to mill it at this speed, I have seen no reference to size of the mill, so fat lotta good it does us to tell him to mill at this rpm at this cpt or sfm
  15. ti is a poor conductor of heat so it will get hot rather quickly, work hardens similar to regular carbon steel, biggest problem is ti tends to gall really bad and will weld to your mill, if not using coolant your cutter will dull really quick
