Just ordered a Primer Stop Switch and RotoCam for my 650. Can't wait to fit them!

I've had only the BEST support from Apex! Installed a FSS kit my full size 9 that's worked flawlessly since day one, so I got another kit for a 9c. The 9c was nothing but problems, light primer strikes, failure to reset, and tons of over travel. I called Apex and the team they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the 9c running properly. In the end I sent it in and they discovered it was an issue with the receiver molding, a stack up of tolerances and some flashing was causing the problems. Supper support, awesome products! My 2 cents.

I use RCBS seat/crimp dies on 9 and 45 with a bullet feeder and powder check. Been working great for me?

I've had good results with extreme 115s in the past as well. I'm wishing now I'd have been more patient and ordered a brand of projectiles I had worked with previously instead of trying something new just because it was in stock. Live and learn

Hey Team, thanks for the replies, much appreciated! - I check the powder charge every time I reload the primer tube (100 rounds). - I do spot check all my dimensions every hundred rounds or so and case gauge all rounds. I will admit I don't usually measure the projectiles regularly, maybe I should spot check a few before I pour them in the bullet feeder? - TightGroup works great for my supersonic 115gr rounds, and even with the 124gr I experimented with. I'd be willing to try another powder for subsonic 147s after making sure something else wasn't causing the issue. Having said that pretty well vested in TightGroup (I've bought a boatload of the stuff back in 2012) since I use it for 45 as well. - I haven't had a chance to load more at 3.2 and recheck the accuracy, hopefully I can this weekend while the rest of the world is Christmas shopping ) Thanks again Team, I'll keep you posted! Good question Jack. I'll load some up this week and give it a try.

My crimp measured .379 - .380 and here are the projectiles I pulled. There's a very fine line that I can just catch with my thumbnail but maybe enough to crease the plating and cause an issue at higher velocities? I'm used to dealing with Jacketed rounds this is new ground for me. Note: I changed the resolution of the previous pics for better viewing.

Jack, I have not pulled any bullets but I can run out to the shop and do so. I'll post pics when I'm done. Not sure why you can't see the entire photo. Anyone else having that issue? Suffice to say for those may not see the photos, most of the groups are great with the exception of a couple of shots that went 5 to 6 inches off from center. Was testing a new subsonic 9mm round today in my Suppressed SBR and encountered some accuracy results that I don't understand. Thought you all might lend an opinion. Rifle: Rock River AR, 9" barrel, SWR Octane 9HD suppressor. All loads are Bullet Works 147gr RN plated, 1.135 OAL, CCI 500 primers, FC headstamp brass, TightGroup powder. Note: This is my first time using Bulletworks but the other components work wonderfully in my super sonic rounds. Data taken at muzzle with MagnetoSpeed chrono 3.2gr TightGroup (10 shots) Min:890 Max:931 Avg:909 3.4gr TightGroup (10 shots) Min:948 Max:980 Avg:964 3.6 TightGroup (10 shots) Min:968 Max:1018 Avg:1002 All strings shot from a rest @ 15 yards, everything cycled well, no pressure signs or operational hiccups. But if you look at the 3.4 and 3.6 strings both had flyers that were totally unexpected. I can assure you those are not shooter induced (I'm not great, but I'm not that bad). You might notice that the 3.6 target looks like there's only 9 hits. I'm at a loss.

Make sure the fail safe rod is completely resetting on the down-stroke. You be compressing the spring at least half way.

That works too, but I load up 5 or 6 tubes at a time.

I just got straight into the Dillon tubes. You have to hold them just right but it works like a charm for me. Small and large primers.
