Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Well of course it depends on the match and distance, that's why I put the kind of match and specifics in the original post. Hoser stage followed by long tight shots.
  2. What are you thinking, straight .725?
  3. Still .5 MOA after long strings? This is a lot lighter (looks like about .625 everywhere but the gas block?) than the straight .750 stretch 16.
  4. Looking for the least front heavy/overall weight barrel that can still make long fine shots after a long stage. Straight .625? .750 into .625? .650 into .750 like JP's lightweight?
  5. Not just new steel. Better bolt designs as well.
  6. Ah, just like that saying. Ounces equal pounds and pounds equal nothing to be concerned about. Anyone have a weight on just the nordic tubes? Lancer has their weights listed.
  7. Anyone weigh the difference between nordic and lancer (cf) extensions?
  8. Yeah, a lot less. That whole less than a tenth of a percentage increase per inch. You're way overstating the case. The 6.5 Grendel is happier in barrels shorter than 5.56. Long for a 5.56? Very long for a 6.5G.
  9. On the other side, the 6.5 is far more short barrel friendly than a 5.56. If I were to get one, 16-18" is the most I'd do. After 19.5 (per AA's charts), you're only gaining .086% per inch in velocity.
  10. Lancer posts up their weights, and I'd like to compare them to Nordic, but can't find any info. Anyone have a source?
  11. Any plan for the CTS LS-P to go Accubushing?
  12. I can't help but hear this in the tone of an IRS auditor. "How could you possibly NOT know about section 10 subsection 2 subsection 8 subsection 3!"
  13. You really think the box feds and x rails are worse than the two yard long pole vaults people use in Tactical?
  14. So there's no benefit to .40 aside from brass/loading commonality?
  15. Weird, so people are going down in bullet weight to make the gun more snappy... what weight are people shooting at? 155?
