Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Any chance you know the length of this screw?
  2. Updating that the 13LB recoil spring with DPM worked fine with Magtech 180 and SB 180 . Factory ammo
  3. Sorry to bring this tread Today I lost 2 screws of CZ TSO - from factory Thumb Rest So what are tehy ? Is it M3.5 or M.4? Thank you
  4. Kidney: marked with arrow The area Iam asking for is this one marked in green. Is it flat or round ( like picture bellow)
  5. Sir- with Regular guide rod Or Metal? With or without the buffer? And last but not least- do you actually have barrel kidney STRAIGHT or with belly?
  6. To summarize : I have taken 3 kits of DPM and measured them spring by spring. Conclusion: The length of the spring in the DPM cz TS kit has nothing to do with spring rate. The springs in the DPM rated as follows: I've measured compression of 2 ", measured the spring L and used math to calculate the full spring compression 17.57# with spring length of 4.01" 17.4# with spring length of 4.44" 16.56# with spring length of 4.42" 16.78# with spring length of 4.1" 15# with spring length of 4.6" 14.3# with spring length of 4.56" 13# with spring length of 4.37" The usual springs for CZ do not match ( too narrow) for DPM and can not be used. In addition : The Original "FROM THE BOX" CZ TS 40 spring is rated 15.8# with length of 4.92"
  7. I have read carefully what you all wrote here. Some use 11# Some 12# or 13# . Seems that most people say that FACTORY spring is 14#. Kind question- how do you measure it, or you simply rely on the seller and you trust him to sell you the correct rate? I mean - there is compression spring. Do you / any of you take a spring and actually measure it? Lets assume your spring rate is 12lb/in (pounds per inch) it will mean it takes 12 pounds of force to compress the spring 1 inch. The slide travel 2 and 1/64 inches till the slide hits the body. (generally you need to compress it 1" and then measure the force for the 2nd inch) https://raceland.com/news/how-are-spring-rates-measured/ Why do I ask- recently bought the CZ TS 40 - shooting factory ammo MAgtech 180 or SB - and have couple of springs - will measure them and choose Thanks

    TS trigger freeze

If you need the hard click of reset you need the the spring of sear as strong as possible and the trigger bow should not be cut off by any wear of the slide-trigger bow cycling work
  10. Oh I had this with Sh1 when I've tried to fit the SH2 hammer. The SH2 hammer gave me issue - when was installed in the Sh1 gun could not lower the hammer with thumb. I replaced the diconnectors, tried to swap tiger bow. It seemed that the sear was too long for Sh2 hammer installed. When you take Sh1 hammer or sh1 slim sport hammer the hooks are cut in different length
  11. What I did is to buy the recoil reducer from DPM- it comes with 4 springs at the pack. each spring for different load. Running it for 5 years. - about 20K of ammo, the original spring is still alive
  12. Standard ammo from Magtech - 40B is doing 175 PF with standard 180gr bullet. How many rounds did you run with your slide stop? The reason Iam interested because it triggered me - During my shooting over the year I have shot ~ 35K rounds Broke about 9 slide -stops I am using SPRINCO recoil reducer( special for CZ TS40 ) and CZcustom 15LB spring Did you break any barrel LUG? Did you break Any barrel at the chamber?
  13. Hey buddy I keep 2 mags as brand new- without loading them even once. The rear of the mag lips ( where the primer is) measured as 9.8mm The front of the mag lips -measured as 9.8mm 9.8mm= 0.385827" My training mags 9.9 rear 10.4mm front 9.8 rear 9.9mm front My 6 mags that are competition mags - lightly used 9.8 rear and 10mm front 9.75 rear 9.9mm front 9.9 rear 10.3mm front
