Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Can not be light crimp, I believe the crimp is .470 and the bulge should not be there. The seating should be done on one die and the crimp on another. Mike
  2. As a rh shooter, moving left to right is safer in not breaking the 180. Or do a standing flat footed reload before you move right to left. Mike
  3. When I RO or So, call it whatever, I need to see that the chamber is clear and no magazine in the pistol. Been down that DQ lane. I will say that if it hasn't happened yet it will no matter how careful you are. Think or Murphy's Law. What can go wrong will go wrong. Of course this is in my very humble opinion. Have been shooting USPSA since about 1986 so I have seen some U&SC that would amaze some folks. It's all good as long as it is done safely and by the book. Mike
  4. Have a 450B set up for 45ACP and another 450B set up for 9MM. Both of the handles have broken where yours did. Sent to Dillon and back in three weeks. Work great. Did not break at the same time. two years apart. Great customer service. They will take care of it for you. Good Luck. Mike
  5. Check your crimp, if you are using too heavy of a crimp or not enough bell on the case, it may lead up. Mike
  6. Welcome to the forum. I am in Corpus myself, shoot at CCPR club with Coastal Bend Shooters. You can check the web site or you can PM me thru this forum. We can get together and I and help you through the pitfalls, etc. Good luck and good shooting. Mike
  7. NickBlasta, I like it. If I was your RO, No procd Thanks, Mike
  8. You would only be DQed if you didn't share the donut or bring another for the RO. LMAO IMHO Thanks, Mike
  9. Welcome to the forum from South Texas. Mike
  10. I put bullet down and use a marker to mark the cases and check for high primers and if in backwards or crushed. That's just me. Mike
  11. Been there done that. Yes do not beat yourself up over this. There are two types of shooters, the first is the shooter who has DQed and the other is the one who will. Learn from your mistake and just enjoy the sport. IMHO Thanks, Mike
  12. Thought we were in Area 4. Mike
  13. Try Coyote Arms in Edinburg South Texas tactical in Brownsville. There is a store and indoor range there. They are in the phone book. Have matches almost every night. Enjoy. Mike
  14. Seriously guys, I know it is a real problem at major matches. There is a lot riding on out there for the shooters and if the RO/SO can not do it right and the MD will not do anything about it, then there is a real problem with it. Of course, there is always the RO that says it's in the rule book, ok please show me where, what rule and how it applies. I know that videos are not allowed for review. But if enough shooters in the squad see it, then it is time to get with the RM or MD and straighten out the said RO/So. But it goes back to what I said before, the RO/So didn't DQ the shooter, the shooter did that all by themselves. Mike
