Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. These are actually better than the factory ones: https://www.gramsengineering.com/product-category/sig-sauer-follower-kits/
  2. I was able to find a few other posts from folks who have received an FCU without this pin. It really does speak to some QC problems in their manufacturing process. One of the other things I found as I went down the rabbit hole was the video below. Of course the gent who posted it has an agenda, but when you look closely at the machining on a lot of these parts it does make you wonder.
  3. So problem solved. The "Custom Shop" FCU did not have the pin for the manual safety installed. With QC like that it's easy to see why there are so many complaints about these guns. Hopefully this will help people who have the same problem. Thanks for all the replies!
  4. The stock FCU has no problem, just the custom shop one which does this. If you look closely at the out of battery pic you can see that the hook on the striker is sticking out of the back a bit and the plate on the slide hits it. With the stock FCU the hook goes in further so no problem. SIG says send it back, given the sketchy reputation of these guns I suppose that is what I'll do. Still interested to know if anyone else has seen this problem or has an idea of what is causing it.
  5. All the parts are new sig, with 300-400 rounds on everything except the custom shop FCU. It is not that it is slightly out of battery and then you can push it closed, it goes to the last bit and stops hard. No amount of force (that I'm willing to apply) will make it close.
  6. I got a custom shop FCU to build a new gun around. When I put it in my X series full size (all stock parts) the slide won't go all the way into battery. It holds back a bit under an 1/8 of an inch and feels like it is hitting something solid. Has anyone run across this problem?
  7. That is the 32ES, or at least that's what the package says. This will be the second time I've got a part that was different from what the label said. Frustrating.
  8. So I ordered an extended mag release from Cajun for my SP01 manual safety model, and yes it is longer but the button is round instead of pear shaped? Is this just how they are or did I get sent the wrong one?
  9. Has anyone seen a case that will take a 50" shotgun + two AR? Been getting into 2x4.

    CZ FO Sights

I have an FO front sight on my M&P where the fiber is very high on the post, just a very thin bit of metal is above the hole. When you put the fiber in, the glob easily reaches the top of the sight. Does anyone know of a front sight like this for CZ?
  11. I have the smaller DAA, and it is great for both general range and matches. I used to have a cart with a range bag, I thought I would get another cart right away. I have been going to matches for a couple of months now and am not sure I will bother with a cart again. The pack is that comfortable. The quality is way above most other stuff I have seen, and the design is really thoughtful. My only complaint is the CED brass bag that came with it is junk. I had the older version before and it was a lot better. Overall, I would say the good design and build quality make it a purchase you won't regret. BTW, I thought the rain fly was a gimmick until the first time it rained at a match. It was great to get home and have everything dry after a day in the rain.
  12. +1 Here too, I needed fast shipping on a CZ SP01 Shadow and the dude took it to a shipping place on his way home after closing the same day that I called. These guys really work hard to make people happy!
  13. I switched over to a CZ using mecgar mags from and M&P Pro in 9mm and found that my Safariland pouches worked perfectly, even though they dont list CZ: http://www.safariland.com/products/holsters-and-gear/gear/pouches-cases-and-holders/competition/magazine/model-771-open-front-single-magazine-pouch-11181.html&start=1#sm.000087nw9oi51fj9u1y2cglgniwqs
  14. If you go to replace the trigger the CGW trigger pin is a must.
  15. Perfect, thanks. So what, if any, springs and polishing points specifically benefit SA?
