Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hey Jordan! Occasionally, the Stoegers will have a "roll" of sorts on the end of the factory magazine tube, as well as the dimple. Every Stoeger I have set up has (cross my fingers) run flawless with this method: -Drill out the dimple, if even present -Cut the end of the factory tube off to remove the "roll". -Face the tube off with a file. -Chamfer and deburr the inside/outside of the tube. -Finish with a fine-grit sandpaper until smooth and burr free. The factory follower is just a tad short, and could potentially tilt in the transition from magazine tube to magazine tube extension. Be sure to seat the barrel nut first, and then install the tube. If running a barrel clamp with the tube, make sure you loosen the tube up to 1 full turn to allow some "wiggle", so as not to influence the barrel with the clamp. Hope this helps!
  2. Nordic 4 Life, y'all. But seriously, both products are extremely viable. Here's why I like the Nordic: Totally modular. Both names are expensive units, but with the nordic MXT system, everything from a +0 plug with a standard sling swivel stud or a QD-cup, to a +9 with a coupler and another +9 available, there is an infinite amount of configurability with the NC system. Tayloring your Vinci for matches or hunting alike, the NC system gives the end-user the ultimate platform, without having to buy several $250 extensions.
  3. As mentioned above, the uncut spring length should be correct for your setup. 14" past the end of the extension would be ideal, but from much of the feedback I get from customers, they'll run fine a little on the shorter end. Do not simply drop the spring in and go, however. Your spring has unclosed ends that can cause problems when loading and firing, and if not tuned, will shorten the life of your spring drastically, or break it immediately. Grab the last 1/4" or so of the spring. Turn the sharp point in and down, into the coil. Repeat on the other end and you should be good to go! Your spring should last a good long while, but as a wear part, we recommend you replace it once a season or so. -Team Nordic
  4. Folks, This was for the earliest NC22's. Please e-mail me at Nordic if you have any questions. ryan@nordiccomp.com
  5. You are correct in your assumption that DPMS, Remington and JP are currently utilizing Nordic Components in a direct relationship for their product lines, but understand that they are built to their specifications by Nordic Components, and have slight design variances to best suit their needs.
  6. This is something we have been hearing quite often lately. The published capacity for this gun is 5+1, but as stated above, shotshell lengths vary across different manufactures. I believe that the 5+1 may have been determined using European shells, which I understand are often shorter. I tell folks to order extensions assuming that their factory capacity is 4 rounds, and to order accordingly. If you want 8+1, order the +4, 9+1 order the +5 etc...
  7. We do not yet have a bolt handle for the new Browning A5.
  8. The M3000 and the M3500 seem to share the same magazine tube, and for this year, it would appear that they have changed the tube design slightly over earlier models. There is an unthreaded portion of the magazine tube, forward of the barrel nut threads, ~.25" or so, that interferes with the Nordic Barrel Nut. If this is removed and cleaned up, the Magazine Extension Tubes should fit and function properly. As Mr. Kelley had pointed out, the shotgun works with Beretta/Nova extensions.
  9. You should not loose a round when using the NC Low-Drag follower, swedge.
  10. Keep in mind, the XXL Cap may or may not get you that extra shell, but it was not intended to do so. If you're looking for the extra capacity, always jump to the next longest tube for the best results. Regards,
  11. The +7 is indeed the extension with the 26" M2 in mind. With extended choke tubes, you will often see a flush fit. Keep in mind, too, you are not limited to the +7 for that barrel length. If you wish to use the +8 for the additional capacity, you won't damage or shoot your tube with that level of overhang.
  12. I'm still leaning on the Benelli Nova nut working for this application, so see if you can't wrangle one of those up to try it. Best regards, Ryan Muckenhirn Sales & Technical, Nordic Components Inc. 320.234.0329
