Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Is is possible to get the specs in PDF or some other format? I just couldn't figure out Rhino to get it converted.
  2. Jammer1911 - Sorry to not reply sooner. I do shoot WNYPPL. Still a good bunch of guys. Actually on a up year this year in participation. Anybody I can try to get a message to for you?
  3. I am going to run my first load of .40 for my glock 23. I am using lead bullets from Mastercast Bullets in PA. They are 180 grain FP and am looking for a good load. All of my books miss the mark any suggestions? Also while setting up my Dillon 550 with Lee dies I am missing something because I can not get anything to fit all the way into the case cage. Any ideas why this might be. I have tried everything I can think of slightly shorter OAL, tighter crimp (even to the point that I thought it was over crimped). I even ran tried running them through a Lee bulge buster.
  4. No I did not try that. I did not think of running the whole thing thru like that. I did think of running them thru with. I will try that.
  5. I recently ran my first load of .38 through my dillon 550. I did not set the resizing/depriming die low enough and got a bad bulge in almost all of my bullet casings. Of course I did not notice this until I had completed 100. Question is, can I resize them through the bulge buster or something similar, or do I need to take them apart and start from scratch?
  6. Just wanted to say hi and that I am glad to be aboard!
  7. Thats what I was hoping. Was going to start at minimum anyway. Thanx.

  9. I am new to reloading, infact as of right now I have only set up my dies and not yet run a load. I purchased my equipment from a friend and he gave me all of his components. Among them were a box of Remington 155 gr .40 S&W JHP. The problem is the only load data I can find for that wieght bullet is for a Silver point JHP? Can I use that recipe (I am concerned about overall length) or where can I find the right info? I have looked and not found anything.
  10. THe Lee Bulge buster says not to use on Glock brass. I was going to do this until I read that. Any problems or thoughts?
