Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. 92A1 sights will not work on the M9A3. I have not seen any suppressor Height sights - but I would go ask at the Beretta Forum.
  2. Several years ago, I carried a fullsize 92FS for 3 years straight - every day. It's doable, but I wouldn't say it was comfortable. It never was Later, I used the same Comptac holster and carried a 92FS compact for a while. There is not much weight difference between the two. Size wise, it's not much bigger than many other carry guns... (the compact 92FS or 92X compact). BUt, it IS heavier than many of the polymer guns. However, lots of guys at the Beretta Forum carry fullsize 92's. I am a HUGE Beretta fanatic. I have owned 28 different 92 variants over 25+ years, and 39 Berettas in total. But, I'll stick to lighter, polymer guns now...
  3. Yea, I was tempted to get this. But, I have a ton of extra, small parts already. Nothing I really need.
  4. I personally like covering the target with the front dot. But, hope ya get it worked out for ya

    M9A3

Yes. I actually have small hands, but that standard 92 grip is just perfect to me

    M9A3

You crazy! Vertec grip is the single largest improvement on any 92. Sorry - over 20+ years, I have owned 1 Vertec, and 26 other 92 variants with the standard grip. Sorry

    M9A3

    Very cool. Congrats!
  8. MDS makes Beretta factory mags - they are owned by Beretta, actually. But yes... Once upon a time, Mecgar made their mags. I've had issues with factory mags no longer locking the slide back reliably if I load them to 15 rounds, and leave them loaded in a gun for months. I've had to change out about 1/2 of my factory mag springs to +10% mag springs to combat the issue. Now, I just load them to 14 rounds for the ones with the stock springs I still have, and I no longer have the problem. I have never had this issue with Mecgar mags - I have a few. I think they use better factory springs. I saw a post on AR15.com yesterday, though - where the guy showed how the Mecgar 18 round baseplates break rather easily. First time I saw that. The older style 15 round Mecgars I have had a metal baseplate. I do not know if they still make these, however.

    M9A3

Anyone else here have the Beretta M9A3? I picked up one in December... I couldn't resist, being such a Beretta nut. Despite the color, I love the gun! It's actually my favorite to shoot out of all my Berettas and all my guns. I've owned like 27 different 92 variants over 20+ years. Every once in a while - I'll come across 1 that is a tiny bit more accurate than the others... Do not know why. I have one 92FS I have held onto over the years - because of this reason. And, the M9A3 I have is like it too. It's REALLY nice at the range. I also really like the Vertec slide (prefer it to the Brig slide - the front sight on the Brigs are a little shorter). I was super happy that Beretta made the conversion grip a hogue rubber grip. I like the standard 92 grip over the feel of a vertec grip...
  10. I initially resisted the call of the WIlson Brig, and just bought a regular Brigadier. But, I kept seeing them online, and I could resist no me. I bought one last year I tried to like the rear sight. I really wish it had a small dot on the rear sight, though... Like Straight 8 type sights. I also didn't care for the curved sight channel - I prefer it squared off. I finally sent my slide off to Trijicon, and I had them install a normal 2 dot rear tritium sight. I got it back last week, and I shot the gun on Fri and Sat. I like it much more now. I also swapped out the grips...
  11. Damn nice. I thought about getting an X5 - but, 226 grips have always been too fat for my hands until the E2 grip came out. I've looked at the 226 SAO and the X5s, and like before - the grips just make the pistol too big for me to hold comfortably. So, I have to pass on those, unfortuntely
  12. I have a serious Sig sickness going on... Someone help me I picked up a new Sig 2022 last week. Bud's had them for $399 shipped. WITH night sights! Two weeks ago, I bought a M11A1 - GREAT gun. I actually swapped out my night stand gun for the M11A1 And, the week before that, I got a Sig 226 with an E2 grip. This was the first time a Sig 226 fit my smaller hands (with the E2 grip) Now I have 3 Sig pistols: And, I'm already trying to save up for a Sig 224 Nickel..... And damned if I didn't buy a Sig 516 carbine on May 31 of last month
  13. That was way too high (he sold it too)
  14. If you go look at all of the 1911 forums, they are reviewed VERY highly. I don't believe I have read a negative review about one of their guns. Supposedly the guy who runs the shop used to be one of the main guys at Wilson (I wanna say Wilson - I forget, but I know he was high up in one of the other shops, from what I've read)
