Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Magsz, you may have hit the nail on the head. There is a slight bow inward in the middle case. Is this an example of over crimping?
  2. I just opened a new jug of N320 manufactured on 05/15/14. Here is what I am getting with MG 124 round nose. Crimp .375-.377..CZ Accu-Shadow 9mm. 4.3 g 1.130 ovl 122 PF 4.3 g 1.120 ovl 125 PF I just started using N320, but these results seem a little low compared to other posts I have seen. I want to be at least around 130 PF. Back to the drawing board.
  3. Welcome....also in Georgia (North).
  4. I had the same problem with CCI primers in my G35 with wolf spring kit. I switched to federals and get a boom everytime.
  5. I am new to the sport also. After several months of trying to figure how and what to practice, I ordered Anderson's first book. It is helping me out. It has given me an easy plan(drills) to follow and track my progress.
  6. Start up Cost...When I started out, I did not want to spent the money. I purchased a cheaper brand. Now that I know this is sport that enjoy, I wish I would have made the investment. If I could start over, I would have made the investment early on and save a lot of head aches with the cheaper loader. I have worked out the issues with the cheaper loader, but I am looking to upgrade in the future.
  7. I have a G35 and shoot limited (major). What is the advantage of loading up some minor loads and shooting limited minor? I understand the reduced points for Bs and Cs. Does the reduced recoil help enough to make up for the Charlies?
  8. Does anyone make a magwell for a G4 that allows the shooter to use the backstraps?
  9. CR Speed...It works...Nice stiff belt that holds my stuff.
  10. Thank you for sharing this link. This a great training tool.
  11. They are not out in troves. I looked for three weeks for mine. I could not find one anywhere. A friend went out of state and saw one on the shelf at a gun store. I called the store and put it on hold and drove 80 miles to get it. They are not easy to find. If you have a buddy at a gun store, they may be able to special order it for you. If not, check buds and grabagun websites daily.
  12. Grab a gun still has the 9 shot in stock. I picked mine up this weekend for $575 at a local gun shop. Very nice gun. http://grabagun.com/mossberg-930-jm-pro-12-24-bl-sy-9shot.html
  13. I started out with Saiga. I used several different brands of shells. When it ran, it was great. When it came to competitions, it would jam. I came to a cross road- send the Saiga off to gunsmith and spend some money on it to make it more reliable or invest in another gun. My decision was to retire the Saiga for now and I put my money into a new Mossberg 930 JM pro. I just picked it up today. It is a sweet gun. Balanced and has a very nice trigger pull. Tomorrow is range day for testing.
  14. New USPSA pistol shooting....Any recommendations for Metro Atlanta area?
