Pistol only.  Five mags with the custom stainless base plates are $500.00 total  and that is what I paid for the bases.Mags springs and followers will come with the bases.  Do them all and I can do $5250.00 total package of gun and five mags

  2. I am gonna jump back on the Crossfit bandwagon. I am 53 and have been doing crossfit for a year and a half. I have lost 25 lbs and I know I am in better shape than I was in my twenties. If you have not tried it, you should. They will scale to any age, weight or condition to make a workout that is challenging yet beneficial. I have seen plenty of people of all age groups come in way out of shape and look great now. Most of the Crossfit gyms have a trial period that is either free for a couple of weeks or some sort of discount to get you hooked. Don't get me wrong, you will hurt like Hell for the first couple of weeks but the long term benefits will definitely improve your conditioning for 3 gun. We have a 67 year old Vietnam Vet that works out with us and he has bad knees from a Helicopter crash and it totally turned him into a new person. He does a scaled weight but he hits it as hard as the rest of us. Don't let age and current conditioning keep you from trying it. Most of my squad does Crossfit and I can tell you from experience, it really helps in all aspects.
  3. Very well stated jw9976. Most of the guys I shoot with Crossfit. Hard to argue against something that works.
  4. She's kind of like the church lady. Yes I shared this with all my friends. That is awesome.
  5. Oh my god that is hilarious. How did she not see the camel toe when she was looking at the video? Sad thing is she probably paid someone to make the video for her.
  6. Check out the Crossfit thread in physical conditioning. Probably one of the longer threads on the forum. Out of the ten guys I shoot with on a regular basis, six of us Crossfit. I think JJ bought a Crossfit gym and the guy who is in charge of the Crossfit games shoots with us on a regular basis. The Crossfit main website had a picture of him teaching one of the top female competitors how to shoot. Talk about a thread that went nuts. I think some antis heads exploded that day.
  7. Thanks for the update Mack1207 and let us know how it works out. I shoot with several guys who have 930's. Will pass this information off to them as well when you give us the update.
  8. Fish oil, and a cross training of some sort. Did ten years as a catcher and blew out my ACL skiing in college. I creaked like the tin man going up the stairs and my knees always hurt. Started Crossfit, Paleo diet and fish oil. Problem solved. Strengthening of all the muscles with something that is not just weight lifting really helps the joints. We have a guy at our gym that is 65 and screwed up his knees in a helicopter crash in Vietnam. The guy moves like a 30 year old and is in great shape after just one year of Crossfit. Memberships can be a bit pricey but so is shooting. And it will help your game as well. Good luck.
  9. Crossfit. Strength, stamina, endurance and flexibility with the Paleo diet. Try to stay away from all the foods that can be refined into alcohol. ( wheat, rice, potatoes etc). Those give you huge spikes which cause the mental crash and burns. Probably this close to a match, your best bet is to eat cleaner. If your long term goal is to get better at 3 gun, I highly recommend you check out Crossfit. Can't tell you how many guys I shoot with also do Crossfit as well. Good stuff and the guy who is in charge of the games is also a shooter.
  10. I use anything I can get my hands on. Range brass and pick up mine after I shoot. Never really seen a difference in any of the brass and it's all mixed. And yes, free is the best brass out there.
  11. The last I heard, Brandon won't work on an SV build that he didn't make. That and it greatly impacts the re-sale value. Best not to cut corners on something like a premium high dollar gun when you can just buy factory new. Brandon really stands behind his products.
  12. I do see field grade Benelli M2's on Calguns quite regularly for around 11-1200 dollar range. Pretty good option if you want to just add an extension and go. TTI will do a complete workover and turn it into one of his competition guns for less than a grand. 2200 is still cheaper than getting a gun built by Salient for 3K. At least with the field grade M2, for less than a hundred bucks for an extension, you can shoot matches and turn it into a race gun later when the budget allows.
  13. So did you get the problem fixed Mack? Sounds like anyone specializing in smithing JM930's could build quite the business. Wonder if www.fixyourbrokenJM930.com domain name is available? Not to make light of your situation but it sounds like you are not the only one with the issues. Hope it all works out.
  14. I have a 12+1 Nordic. The extension is way past the end of the barrel. If I were to do it all over again, I would just get a 26" barrel. Same length with the extension. Other problem with the longer extension is more thinking about the count if there are any slugs or switch to buck stages. Also kind of ruins the entire short barrel advantage of getting around the stage quickly.
  15. Call Taran Butler at Taran Tactical Innovations. He can tell/sell you anything Benelli. He does custom Benelli work as well as being a sponsored Benelli shooter. If anyone can fix it or help you, he can. info@tarantactical.com 805.522.1911
