Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Correct, the QLS plates are designed for holsters where as the ELS are for accessories. As noted above, the QLS plates are larger than the ELS and the locking mechanism of the QLS is stronger than the ELS plates.
  2. Wilson Combat also has 18" barrels in stock.
  3. Decided to try something different and use an Aimpoint instead of the sideways C-More. KKM Barrel Carver comp Carver slide racker Zev Tech Fulcrum trigger Zev Tech mag release SJC heavy magwell
  4. I use the one that came with the belt and a homemade belt keeper consisting of webbing and a cam buckle.
  5. I am partial to single stage triggers and I love the Wilson Combat TTU-3G trigger, which has a short reset and a very clean break.
  6. I use a captured ISMI #13 spring on a tungsten rod.
  7. I love my Wilson trigger, it has a short reset and no creep, but I also prefer a single stage trigger over two stage triggers.
  8. I turn mine off between stages and turn it on when taking a sight picture/before LAMR.
  9. I've ordered from Euro Optic before and have been pleased with their prices, shipping and customer service. Give them a call and see what they can do for you and if they have it in stock.
  10. I use a Safariland 014 holster for my Open Glock 17 and I do realize that it will not protect my optic, which causes me to be a bit more careful about potentially running into things. Whereas with my limited gun and Safariland ALS, I do not care if something hits my gun/holster. This mainly applies to 3 gun competitions for me, since most of the pistol competitions I participate in, the gun spends little time in the holster.
  11. If you get a slide racker for your Glock, don't get the one that mounts on the rear plate. The specifications are not the same as the rear plates and if you have a Rocket connector with the over travel stop, the slide racker plate with change the geometry of the connector...in my case it made it so I could not fire the gun. Get a rear dovetail racker. For non-Glock pistols, the ball detent is the way to go. Matt Cheely put mine on. I am currently using one that mounts to the dovetail and is secured with a set screw, but thanks for the heads up on the rear plate.
  12. I definitely want the slide racker on my Glock since it makes it much easier to pull back the slide with the C-more in the way.
  13. Not sure what happened to the Nordic end caps, but The Shooters Source makes extended caps (+1, +2) for the Nordic MXT tubes.
