I have a G17 gen 4 and am looking to replace the trigger. I want it to be production legal and 3 to 4 pound pull. Anyone have a recommendation on what aftermarket parts or set to put in there? What's is the prevailing preference in the uspsa community?

If a stage calls for the shooter to begin movement upon the buzzer what tips or techniques do people have for beginning that movement as quickly as possible? It seem that many shooters take a long time to get out of the box and get going. Any suggestions for getting the feet moving quicker?

I'm just a regular guy with no credentials that should make people listen to me but I think barrel length is the most important factor. Everything has a little impact but barrel length is primary. This is why people make 135 with 115 gr. 9mm out of a 5" while I only make 123 something out of my 4". This is what my research has come up with.

I am making consistent 122/123 with an XD 9mm 4" using a couple different brands of factory 115 grains. I don't reload 9mm. Can someone suggest a hotter load? Any suggestions for a factory load (brand/weight) which might make it?

Silver Creek has a monthly USPSA match the 2nd Sunday and steel challenge the 4th saturday. The Hidden Hills thirdy sunday match is no longer active.

Does a Para P-16 magazine with an Arredondo mag pad qualify for Limited class? In the alternative what base pads are people shooting for P-16 for limited class? Thanks for the advice?
