Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Kneelingatlas, No, they blew out at the groove between the base and the main part of the case. In all cases tho it was a cheap one piece case. If i remember correctly they were all Tulammo cases. I always throw those away now.
  2. Kneelingatlas, I am using CFE Pistol behind a 124 MG HP. Shooting in DVC OPEN. Using any range pickup brass.
  3. Banacek. Don't know why your results are different. My load is Montana Gold 125hp, oal 1.150 CFE Pistol 7.6 gr. shot in 2 identical STI DVC OPEN's. My avg velocity the last time I tested was 1436fps. Temp was in mid 80's. Shot Illinois Sectional on Aug 13th and match chrono measured at 1443fps so I'm pretty confident in my data.
  4. You have way more than you need. Just go, have fun and get some experience. Go to as many matches as you can. I did not like my BT DOH. It was too far from my belt to be legal but you can worry about that much later. The BOSS hanger is good, there are some other aluminum brackets out there similar to the BOSS. Everything else you have is top shelf, you should have a good time. Let us know how it goes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  5. I also find cfe and autocomp nearly identical. I use 7.6gr of cfe with 124 montana gold in my STI DVC OPEN. PF is 175. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks for the post. Wouldnt touch them with a ten foot pole. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  7. You could get a lock out die. I think it is a Hornady product. It locks up the press on an undercharge of overcharge. I used one until i got my bullet feeder and had to use that slot for it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  8. I used a Hornady for several years but recently switched to a Dillon 650. I like the Dillon much better. No experience with the Lee. The Dillon is the one most people compare other presses to. My opinion is to always buy the one that everyone claims to be as good as. Just my opinion and im sure there are a lot of other opinions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  9. SNS coated bullets are very popular around my area. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  10. I dont load 115's but i use 7.6gr of cfe with 135 montana golds. Pf is 176 in my STI. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  11. I like cfe pistol, meters well. Dont know about the rifle powder. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    9mm OAL

In my opinion +/- .007 is not a problem if you are using mixed brass. I run my Shadow loads at 1.135. Im sure it would handle your loads with no problem. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  13. If you have any round nose bullets I would try them. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  14. I would try to shorten some just to see if that solves the problem. I have some guns that dont like flat nose bullets but have never had that problem with my Glocks. I have loaded some as short as 1.10. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  15. Have you tried a different mag? Mags are one of the things that cause nosedives. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
