Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I started out with an older M70 top feed and a good scope. Just show up and shoot. Get to know what the sport is about and what other shooters are shooting. Wind calls and understanding how to shoot the positions in the stages far out weight what equipment you shoot. I spent a year shooting these matches before I upgraded my gear. I still shot in the top 10-12 our of 20-24 shooters in our local matches with my hunting rifle. The top 6 shooters in our local club are all sponsored or incredibly good shooters. Most everyone in our club has been overwhelmingly helpful with new shooters. Bring what you have and have fun!
  2. I have been shooting the local PRS matches for about 2 years now. I went with the MOA reticle. It was faster for me to learn to use, since I have been calculating MOA in my head for nearly 30+ years. I did not train with optics and MILS in the military. I have 2 Nightforce 3.5-15 scopes that have the MOAR reticle. I absolutely love these scopes and reticles. Currently all future scopes will be NF and MOAR equipped.
  3. Just thought I would say hello and introduce myself. I have been involved in shooting competition since I was 12. Have covered most disciplines; Archery, trap, sporting clays, SB 50 foot indoor, high power, IDPA. I got on to this web site to get some help setting my son up to shoot IDPA and Tuesday night steel. He is Left eye dominate and right handed.
