Thanks for the replies. I was able to get some 124 Gr. Montana Golds direct and also some more on Gun broker. Should be all set now.Good to know the Sig bullets are an option if needed.

Running low on the Montana Gold 124 JHP I usually use, can I use 357 Sig bullets that are a .355 diameter for minor 9mm loads? This is for a Glock 34. Anyone tried this? What adjustments did you make?

I had Brooks Tactical A-grip on my first gun. I've grown accustomed to skateboard tape now, but A-grip gives a good grip and it not gritty at all, it is really soft. You can buy it from Brownell's.

Don't put an extra.power trigger spring and a light striker spring in together for safety purposes. Don't put too light of a striker spring in with a stock striker unless you have a limitless supply of Federal primers. Lessons learned in my first few years of shooting handguns.

My 2nd batch of reloads ever (only the last 20 or so out of 100) were pulled because of a similar issue. I got a really hot, smoky, smelly blast. I inspected other cases I tumbled and they had tumbling media in them(kind of crusting the wall). Not every case, just a few. It was new media and once fired pretty clean brass to begin with. I attributed it to being over zealous with brass polish, which caused some cob to clump. I quit using brass polish and drastically improved the lighting in my reloading area and have never seen this again.

I am using a lightened striker, 4lb striker spring, 2 lb safety spring(i think), minus connector, and an extra power trigger spring. Seems to good to be true. It has not failed to reset in 400 rounds at the range. Very short, very light. Any thoughts on issues I may run into? It seriously rivals the super light 1911 triggers I have used/ owned. Edit to add that it has the Glocktriggers Challenger trigger bar, also the FP safety spring that came with that trigger bar, so not sure of the weight.

I have a bone stock Yugo AK that I rarely shoot. Nothing special. I have almost sold it five times this year and I cannot bring myself to sell it. I am the same way with guitars.

Do they take Para Mags? Curious as for how a 140 or 170 could be made/acquired.

Very curious about this now that I own a gun with batteries. After talking about guns a lot and doing very little shooting for a few years, I think I am freeing up the time to do a lot more shooting next year and a good amount of dryfire practice this winter. Is once a month a safe bet, as the first poster suggested?

I really like the Dawson adjustable rear. I use the black front sight from Dawson, I think I am going to switch to the fiber optic front for USPSA.
