Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I also have found that 2 hours is a good number.
  2. Yup! Started with a 750 and upgraded about a year later to the 2001. Huge difference! Sold the 750 to a buddy at work that was just getting started in reloading. We were both happy!
  3. Haven't logged on in awhile and just noticed there doesn't appear to be any Dillon stuff in the store section anymore! What gives??
  4. This ^^^ Rifle or pistol, I scrap anything that has odd numbers or markings. Not worth the hassle on the press. I do my best hand sorting to weed out anything questionable. I don't like having problems on a progressive. Takes up too much time.
  5. I'll second this. If they pass the gauge and feed in your pistol, and are accurate, there is nothing to worry about.
  6. I have been very impressed with Aero products. The last build I did for my buddy at work was with the M4E upper/lower line. Lower was fantastic to assemble and has very nice enhanced features. I bought a complete upper for myself last year on a black Friday special and it is great as well. I'm sure all their M5 .308 line is just the same. Very impressed by the fit/finish.
  7. I have found that the 17 round PMAGs don't reliably lock my QC10 9mm back when empty. Factory Glock 17's & 33's always lock them back.
  8. My BiL has a LNL. He has issues. It seems from seeing online posts/gripes like the major issues pop up when a casefeeder is added. And it seems if you are going to be changing calibers then you run into issues getting everything just right each time a switch is done. Do yourself a favor...buy once/cry once. Sell it & get a 650 with casefeeder. You'll be happy! BTW, I have 2 650s and now a 1050. They rock! The 1050 priming is magic!
  9. Check to see if your platform is loose first off. I was chasing everything else and finally figured out the platform was loose. I think it's crazy that they don't Loctite those 2 bolts at the factory. When I got my second 650 and when I set my buddy's new 650 up, I loosened one at a time and Loctited them so we wouldn't have a problem in the future. ETA...you'll have to pull the shellplate off obviously, but it's wirth it to check to be sure and you might as well do a little PM & cleaning while you're in there.
  10. BTW...I was crunching a lot of brass on the resizing die
  11. Actually, now that I read your description more, it sounds a little like what I had experienced with my first 650. It ended up being the main bolt on the platform that worked loose and threw everything out of whack. It wasn't Loctited from the factory ? they will send you an alignment tool no charge if that turns out to be the problem. Good luck!
  12. it's Friday....still time to call Dillon. You might even be able to get any parts needed delivered by USPS on Saturday depending on location relative to AZ.
  13. I searched and found some very old listings with prices all over the place but I'm still wondering if someone knows the history behind them being discontinued (if they actually were discontinued). thanks in advance ?
  14. So either of those have a good combo of low recoil and lack of side/rear blast/obnoxious noise?
  15. So, is the consensus on the Seekins ATC that it is the best happy medium between effectiveness & lower sound/blast?
