Plates are in good condition idk if it just hit an edge the right way or what.. The ammo the guy was using was blazer ammo.. Im not blaming them.. but not sure how stringent their quality control is.. lol.. I quite a few other people got peppered with shrapnel.. the others were in the hands legs and chest but nothing that embedded like mine..

Oh.. sorry for the blood.. and here is the brand for those of you who are wondering.. Normally I wear safety glasses.. but didnt figure I had actually needed them since I wasnt going to be shooting..

We shoot wellston gun club.. were not sanctioned but we follow all the rules.. some of the guys out there shoot it for practice for circleville or bigger matches like ohio state and that sort of thing..

And to update.. plastics are not going to operate on the fracture.. they're just going to let it heal over time.. I'm just waiting on eye doctors to come in and see what they want to do about the metal.. Update:. Optho is going to leave the metal in my orbital.. there are a couple pieces in there but its not hurting anything where it is so they dont see any reason to operate.. discharge papers are in and will be headed home shortly..

Hey everyone.. I wasn't sure where to put this.. I figured injury section would be appropriate.. I was at the local club with my wife and some friends.. I had forgot my safety glasses at home and figured i could just use my sunglasses that I keep in my car since I was just watching and not shooting.. I was standing under one of the canopies at the range watching and talking to one of my buddies at the range.. The RO called for eyes and ears so I put mine on and continued talking.. All of a sudden it felt like someone hit me on the face with a hammer.. A round had ricocheted off of a plate rack and came back at me.. the fragment or round went through my sunglasses and in my orbital.. my vision is perfect but I have a fractured orbital floor and at the time of writing have a piece of metal in my eye socket.. I am still at the hospital waiting for them to decide who is going to do the surgery or if they want to do it at all.. I would just like to call out and hope everyone is wearing safety or ballistic rated glasses and not just standard lenses and sunglasses.. if I had been any further to the right.. I could have lost my eye.. Thanks for reading.. Hope this post makes everyone think about their eyewear and their safety..

I'm not using a gold team.. I had a custom .38 super tanfoglio built and I use 8.5 grains on vihtavouri n350 with an oal of 1.270" and a 124 grain cmj bullet from Montana gold and starline supercomp cases.. love it..

I have the P Carry in 9mm, a Limited in .38, an open gun built off of the Match frame and an open gun built off of the Limited frame both in .38 super. What all does it take to become a firearm importer? As long as there isn't a quota on the number of guns, I would like to try and get my importers license.
