Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I enjoy shooting buckshot in 3-gun matches, for a few targets, a large all buckshot stage can get expensive pretty quick. I wish more matches incorporated buckshot into their stage design. There's always the option of putting up a couple paper targets where buckshot is required, really not that different than a pistol round, at the ranges that have ammo size restrictions. Good luck!
  2. If they are shotgun optional would there be any reason that you couldn't use buckshot on them?
  3. What's the gun for? If it's only going to be for USPSA LTD Major, skip the caliber conversion. If you think you might want to shoot it in 3-gun, or LTD Minor, go for the caliber conversion.
  4. I have all three in various calibers...I just switched my 5.4 sight tracker over to .40 from 9mm for the first time in about a year and a half of shooting it, I have a match coming up where I want to major PF points and I have to say in .40 with major bullets this thing is a dream. I think the weight helps mitigate recoil and the 5.4 feels very well balanced. I also have a 6 inch in 9 and 40 and while I like the longer sight radius of the six inch, the 5.4 has a totally different feel and at least for .40 major I prefer the 5.4 sight tracker.
  5. I'm sure it's possible but it's always best to keep your expectations realistic. Trust me, once you get your first one, that wait for the second one won't be that bad. I guess that probably is the only bad thing about buying your first Infinity, after you get it, it's hard to stop at one...
  6. 1oz Fiocchi Low Recoil run great in my M2 and are very accurate.
  7. I'm sure LimCat are great guns but nothing compares to an SV Infinity. I own three.
  8. It's my understanding that there isn't a max birdshot size. Any size birdshot is acceptable.
  9. How do I go about starting the process of sending my 650 to Dillon to have it rebuilt? Also, what's the approximate turnaround time on that and what is the best way to ship it to them?
  10. Here are a few of my data points I have for N320 and 200gr coated bullets, gun is most likely a 5" SVI...I've got data for other bullets if you need it PM me, it's easier to email. Bullet 200 gr bayou 4.4 grains 1.22 Oal FPS 888,909,915,910 200 gr bayou 4.3 grains 1.22 oal FPS 896,891,883,867,908,894

  12. Yes, that's a great combination. If you want to PM me your email address I can send you a bunch of chrono results with that combo.
  13. I've not shot a Salient 2011, and like Ken, didn't even know they made one. Infinity all day long, they are the best handguns on the planet.
