hi wannabe... i sent my barrel to steve at ADCO, he moved mine to the mid-length position, and welded the carbine gas port shutt. ..................................................................................... this time around, i'll send him a 20'' pencil barrel, have him cut/recrown/thread to 17 inches. i gotta try this short barrel, with rifle gas. peabody

i sent my stock trigger to bill springfield. www.triggerwork.net sent him a check for 35 dollars and my trigger, 6 days later i have a wonderfull 3# trigger. zero creep, breaks like glass. i really like it. peabody

yes. im dying to get home and finish out my, dissy, with midlength gas, i've finnished it five times, in five years.... ha. i do want a rifle gas 16'' .. or an 18 incher.. i dont know ? i have a20 inch 1x9 twist pencil barrel at home, may have steve at ADCO, trim her back, and re-crown, re-thread.. to 17 inches. with rifle gas. thinkings ? putt a DCM free floating tube under the guards, and an A1 stock.... its an ideal ? im just a hunter and plinker. peabody

hummm... more info.. on mid-length gas, guessing ? i was right to have steve at ADCO trim down , my mid-contour barrel, and re-drill for a middy gas. but ? still ? i want rifle gas, like the dpms. peabody

anything more ? you guys can add ? about the DPMS tactical ? im wanting one pretty bad, and yes... in my limited time, i've learn'd to love rifle gas. seem's like the dissy, is the way to go. peabody

i have a cmmg barrel, re-done by steve at ADCO. great work and fast. its a mid-contour barrel [too heavy] , so steve trimmed her down, and moved gas port to a middy. AWSOME. having said that... i want a DPMS 16'' with rifle gas so bad , i can taste it. already have a 20'' service rifle, its the cats meow, for accuracy and soft shooting. peabody

im a fan of open sights too, them tube thingys . are ugly. scoring ? killt every deer i've ever shot at. peabody,

after picking up and shooting my buddys 20'' rifle. havent shot one of those in 37 years, thanks to uncle sam. loved it, way softer shooting, loved the full length handguards, and longer sights, it all came flooding back... im switching out ALL my AR's to either mid-length, and rifle. probly will go rifle, and mid-lenth dissipator, best of both. thowing the carbine barrels away. peabody
