Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. That's well worth it to have Beven perform the operation......go for it!
  2. Try Gary at Caspian, I believe he can tell you what needs to be done to make them work.
  3. Redefining acceptability begins at a conscious level and does not involve technique. It is a decision that is made when the desire to shoot an ‘A’ overcomes the want to be fast. After that the physical technique will sort itself.
  4. BE- Happy Birthday brother!! I couldn't afford to get you a real stripper, so here you go: Did I ever tell you I'd be willing to lay down beaucoup bread for an audio version of "Practical Shooting"? Maybe, oh I don't know, it could be ready for my B-day TT
  5. I am very proud to announce that the Army Marksmanship Unit Soldier of the year is SSG Joe Harless!! I thought there may be some of you here who know Joe and would like to hear the great news. Joe is our gunsmith/coach/psychiatrist/shooter and all-around great guy, who is always there for us at the major matches. Through his commitment to excellence, unwavering dedication, and perpetual dependability, Joe triumphed over Gold medal winning Olympians and world record holders, to receive this prestigious award. Way to go Super 'smith!! Proudly, Sweet T
  6. Go DT! He's a Grand Master writer.
  7. Dude, those are some beautiful 1st gens you have there. But I guess you haven't heard the news, that old technology just can't compete with the 2011...... That long heavy gun is going to slow you down too. Trust me, I read that somewhere. Oh damn, they're not even 9x19....you won't be able to afford the brass I guess we're both SOL.
  8. Eric- you might be surprised at how many light fighter infantry have the M68 in their kit. Whether they choose it over irons or not is a different story. Hell, we even used them in OSUT(11B) - along with M16A4’s (flat-top and rails), PAC4’s and PVS 14’s. I know the aimpoint isn't an EO, but it is a dot. Also, I think there was some confusion over IR/thermal, as Kyle said a thermal (not IR) couldn't see through walls. Keep up the great work KL! TT
  9. It sounds like Handguns will be *the* magazine to read. Saying that Doug is criticizing the sport of IPSC because he isn’t winning is less than fair, and couldn’t be farther from the truth. Doug is a mercenary; if there was even a hint of money in IPSC he would be right up there at the top. Even with the distractions of his primary disciplines, he still manages a top 16 finish every year. That's damn amazing if you ask me.
  10. Oakley sucks. If you're worse than -2.50 they tell you your SOL.
  11. Steve, Flex- Wish I would have thought of that dry-fire swinger! Nice job. TT
  12. Only one? That's tough..... Definitely a Ma Deuce with HE. Scratch that, a Benelli with slugs and buck. Hold on, make that an M4 with 203 and bayonet. No wait a minute, make that a single stack .45! Jeez, next you'll want us to choose only one chick
  13. Rob is using a Shuemann 4 port hybricomp barrel (new old stock, stamped 9x25) in his Open heater. The SA hi-cap is similar to a Para except that it's forged not cast. If you want one, buy an OTC .45, junk the top end, get it acc-u-railed, fit your Super top and your set.
  14. Well said Bucky, and cool avatar. The converted ones often become our most ardent supporters.
