Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. 4.0 Clays/180 Zero/OAL 1.145 Shot thousands--zero problems. Almost as soft as N320, but cheaper and easier to find.
  2. "QUOTE" Any recipes for clays powder. Have 11 lbs of clays. 4.0 Clays/180 Zero/OAL 1.145 Soft shooting load for my Glock 27
  3. "QUOTE" The leg where the trigger spring connects is heated and moved forward slightly. OR A pin can be put in the ejector housing to limit take up. I've done the heating and the pin--I prefer the pin.
  4. I just bought 16 lbs of Clays from Cabelas. It's now being made in Canada.
  5. "QUOTE" Clays !!! +1 Not quite as soft as 320 but close & it's cheaper and easier to find. 4gr Clays/180 FMJ/OAL 1.145 I've shot thousands of them.
  6. 4.0 gr Clays/oal 1.145/180 gr MG or Zero--these 2 are the only 180 gr bullets I've used-- other 180s are no doubt fine. An excellent load for a Glock 40 SW. I shoot it daily in a G27.
  7. OP I see no signs of primer flow in your pictures. I've shot thousands of rounds--4.0 Clays, OAL 1.145, 180 gr out of a G27 w/NO signs of pressure and NO primer flow (Primer edges are always rounded). .
  8. In 2002 I shot my new G23 2 times, looked at the bulge in the brass and ordered a KKM barrel--didn't shoot it again 'till it was installed. In 2012 I purchased 2 G27s, case head support was much better but the chamber was large. I ordered 2 more KKM barrels for them. Reliability has been 100%, peace of mind--100%.
  9. "QUOTE" You are lucky Joe...for now. I must be lucky too, I've shot many pounds of Clays (4gr 180MG) thru a Glock (OAL 1.145) w/no signs of pressure. My experience--VV320 has the lightest recoil w/Clays close behind and Clays is much easier to find.
  10. No, I've got thousands of rounds through my Glocks and never broke a trigger spring. Actually stretching the trigger spring will lighten the trigger pull.
  11. Don't use a screw (and perhaps misplace it) ,heat and bend the front leg of the cruciform sear toward the front of the gun. Use a heat sink when you do this. It's easy to do and can be adjuated to get the pre travel you like. If this is done the trigger safety MUST be altered to work correctly.
