Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have two old Hornady Progressive presses. I've seen the new LnL, and think it's the best! I've been waiting for one of mine to break down to justify the new Lnl - but they just keep ticking along. Looks like a new press will have to be the third press!! I wonder about anyone dumping on Hornady - they have been the absolute best to me for decades! Don't hesitate because of some questionable post. Hornady rocks!!!
  2. Yup - shoot 'em all! I have both - Glk 17 & M&P fullsize. If aftermarket parts are not an issue (Glock has much more aftermarket available) I like the M&P better! Thousands of rounds through both, without any problems. What it comes down to is which fits your hand better. I'd just like to ad here that the 1911 trigger is the absolute best for competition (I'm sure some will disagree) but the single action, very short pull, clean break is hard to improve upon. I know this is not much of an answer to your question, it's like which is better a ford or a chevy?? The fit to your hand is what should guide you. Good luck & remember you cannot practice 'too much'!
  3. Poor trigger control is the #1 culprit for poor accuracy. I agree with that posted here. Try SLOWLY pressing the trigger - so the shot surprises you. SLOW trigger press will let you know if - at least - that's the problem. Hang in there - never quit, never quit, never quit!!
  4. Since time is of the essence (for reloading) - I use Winchester white box!
  5. Has anyone used this powder, WW Auto Comp, for major at what grain & bullet weight. Thanks guys
