Yes, Flight Control patterned ok at 15yds but for some reason shot way high at 50yds.???

So far i have run 9 boxes of Remington Gun Club 1-1/8oz. 1200fps and 25 Fiocci 7/8oz. 1300fps slugs with out a bobble.muzzle break does not screw up the pattern or slug accuracy. Estimated recoil reduction arround 50%.

Dont Know which muzzle brake youve tried, jj but mine works fine. Ive compared it to an R&R Saiga with 2 midbarrel JP brakes and its pretty damn close. Its hard to tell exactly because the Saiga weighs more than my MKA.

I would think that popple holes or MagnaPorts would definitely reduce muzzle rise. I dont think you will get any recoil reduction, however

Anyone using one of these with their MKA? Do they perform satisfactorily?

Finally some decent weather. Made it to the range to try out the muzzle brake. The brake definitely works! Hardly any muzzle rise and straight back recoil is also softened. Right now Remington Gun Club 3dr.-1 1/8 loads are cycling 100%. Fieocci 7/8-1300 slugs are cycling 100% and are shooting lights out! Buckshot didnt do so well. The shells i had were Federal and they patterned low with the sight zero. Will have to try some otther brands to see if i can find something that will print to point of aim. Ill keep you posted Dave

I didnt have any thing to go by so i made the internal diameter 1". I was afraid to make it smaller for fear of snagging the wads. I found the wads from todays testing and they didnt show any evidence of contacting the gills on the comp. Next up i will check the pattern for birdshot and buckshot and also make sure it doesnt affect slug accuracy. And,yes, i will be able to change chokes w/o removing the comp. Im in the process of making an extended choke wrench.

Tried the comp out today. Works great! I would guess it cut recoil by at least a third and maybe a half. It was worth the effort!

Got my MKA from T&N Monday. These folks are super to deal with. Took it to the range and put 2 boxes of 1 1/8 X 1200 through it with no hiccups. Next shot a box of WallyWorld Federals and had one stovepipe. Then tried 5 Remy managed recoils and had one stovepipe. Next was 10Fiocchi 7/8ozX1300 with no problems. Went back to the Remy MRs and shot 15 clean. Only gripe I have is it takes a considerable amount of effort to push the button to drop a mag. Other than that I'm real happy!

Has anyone had experience with the Bora BR 99 magfed shotgun? Dave
