Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I'm just the opposite picked up a used 1050 then over the following 8 months picked up 650's cause the deals were to good to pass and each time tried to warm up to using them instead of changing the 1050 over and just didn't enjoy using them and sold each off and use the 1050 and a 550
  2. Have you sent the sight yet?  Do you have a tracking number so I can check on when it may get to me.

    Thanks.

  3. personally if it were me I'd find a used 1050 and keep 1 550 if your reloading other calibers too , I got a 1050 before loading on a 650 and found I didn't like the 650, and I tried the 650 3 different times as I ran across deals that I couldn't pass up and all there ended up sold and stuck with the 1050/550 combo , just tossing a different thought out there
  4. it was around $2600 IIRC, but it was bought to go with the Bullet Master
  5. think extra 5 minutes tops , got 1 shell plate does 5 different calibers , others do 2 or 3, really slapping dies in and out verses a toolhead isn't hardly any difference in time , and much easier storing the die sets then it would be toolheads , with 4 presses setup and several other pieces of equipment room is a premium got n problem spending $$ on stuff to make life easier , if you peek in one room there's a Magma Bullet Master and Lube Master
  6. I do around 14 calibers on the 1050 and only 1 tool head, I use Hornady lock rings on the dies and I just buy only the parts needed for a specific caliber and been able to find them used so I'm at around $64 for each caliber and don't mind the little extra change over time . tried using the 650 3 different times but prefer the1050 so now those 3 650s are owned by other people
  7. I just let them run through the Lube Master from Magma
  8. Seen 1 guy end up sending his back to Dillon , I'd try a pencil tip torch
  9. yep tha cam is more money for the updated models and less for the older units BTDT. also tried to get print to make a jig to jig up old piece and tig it for a back up, that was a no go http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e219/angus6/1050_zpsbfde9041.png
  10. Thanks will mess with the shiming #13108 as I'm not quite at 100%
  11. their bouncing around , seen $105 in the last day or so
  12. Asked Gary about if the alloy was a fial safe part and about having a steel one builtand what I got was that it would end up work hardening and become brittle also Anyone have a print that they would share ? I'd like to build a jig and tig this one up as a backup
  13. Dillon was very helpful in getting a replacement part in my hand ASAP, to bad it was the wrong arm,, evidently the "A" version is a design flaw otherwise why would they make a "B" of the part and the real kick in the ASS is those with the Faultily "A" version get the pleasure of paying $90 bucks more for a part that they felt they needed to redesigned , guess I'm having a hard time with how these 2 parts can be 60% different in cost
  14. and a few more again http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00DMD1USI/ref=olp_twister_all?ie=UTF8&tag=vglnk-c102-20
  15. Mine from about 2 hours ago, trimming .223 brass , noticed had quite gauging good, made slight adjustment , caught a primer that pulled back into pocket so was lifting handle top stroke to remove decap die and pop she went, maybe 85K trough press and 90% of that was just processing brass , no auto drive yet. To me it looks to be a fail safe part as it's in aluminum, so what are the thought of replacing with steel and if GTG anyone know who has them or a print they could share
