Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. You would be more than welcome, Kyle. The primary reason for not getting USPSA at CCFSA is time and logistics. We are slim on steel not to mention a Board not willing to embrace steel on a level necessary to satisfy the CoFs. If you come in May, our May Match will be an IDPA DMG (multiple-gun) Match.
  2. Clinton County Farmers and Sportsmen Association, Wilmington, Ohio. Start time 9:00 am, Match Fee $10.00. IMA rules apply. Web Site
  3. I've used an HK45 for CDP and found it to work just fine. Yes, it fits the box and I've never had a problem with an accidental "decock." Work on your grip and that will be solved. I run a P30L in ESP and SSP and am more effective with the HK platform as compared to my previous Glocks and M&Ps. Besides, I wanted to shoot something a bit different without sacrificing performance. YMMV
  4. It would be a simple matter to plug the bottom of a six shell caddy at the edges with some delrin or something similar. If you leave the middle open you would still be able to grasp and index a finger on the middle of the bottom shell. Thanks, that's what I'm going to do. Just ordered two six rounders and will attempt to modify. And for the inquiries, yes, I can grasp five shot shells at a time without issue. Just didn't want the added gap at the top when using six rounders.
  5. I've looked all over the Internet and cannot find a place to buy 5-round shotshell caddy's that don't cost $50.00 and up. Can anybody recommend a place to buy some 5-shot caddies? Thanks.
  6. New to Benelli shotguns, curious to learn what is the recommended choke and load for muti-gun matches? I am new to multi-gun but not new to IDPA/USPSA. TIA
  7. I am contemplating the same move, I really like the X-5 Competition that I have, but it is rather useless in USPSA since it's a 9mm.
  8. I definitely agree, we did not get an advantage and I feel that my performance suffered miserably as a result of fatigue. Two long setup days prior to shooting on Saturday provided me with the worst scores that I've recorded to date at a Sanctioned Match.
  9. Why not a regular P220 and let Bruce Gray work his magic on it to smooth out the DA pull? A P220 with the SRT would be a nice setup, if you ask me.
  10. I'm new to these forums and was an SO at the Ohio Match. I personally observed more than one 1911 and other makes fail during my stage. Which stage? Stage One, the Tour Bus. Talking procedurals, I didn't have a procedural but Bill's stage (Stage Eight) kicked my butt!! I had a non threat and a miss on that dropper which ruined by match.
  11. Yes, but he's a true gentleman, a perfect match couldn't have happened to a nicer individual.
  12. I would be one that you briefly described. I've been a long time shooter, using my G34/G17 in SSP/EX and recently purchased an MP9 Pro Series. All that I will say is WOW! It comes with a Novak FO front and all black rear and the balance is quite impressive, not to mention the grip ergonomics. Definitely a new entry in the World of SSP.
