I have been dry firing but not using the par timer very often. I will work on that and look for some drills on transitions and splits. Thanks for noticing the finger in the trigger. I will watch out for that.
I just got bumped to B class last month and would like to make A by the end of this season. This is a stage from the OKC Gun Club monthly match yesterday. Give me some tips to improve please.
Shot 7 stages this morning. Did pretty well but had 1 mike on a drop turner that needed 3 shots and I only hit 2. This is my first year up here and it is great to be out of the Oklahoma heat. It was 115 the day we left OK. Stopped at walmart and got a hoodie this morning so I wouldn't freeze.
I have a 6" 2011 coming in the mail and wanted some recommendations on holsters for it. Does anyone make a doh kydex or is the gun too long to come out of one well? What are you guys using. This will be my first limited gun.
I have a Angus worked SP01 Shadow and never have had any problem with many thousand CCIs but do only get about 90% out of the Wolf primers. I will try the extended firing pin and see if that helps.
I like to keep the foam in all the time and wear a hat with ear and back protection, like for ocean fishing, and when it is my turn to shoot, I put the electric muffs over the hat flaps and it keeps my ears dry and still kills the noise.
I want to say a big Thank You to Blade-Tech for taking care of a holster issue for me. We are having a record setting hot summer in Oklahoma this year and I had left my belt on top of my range bag in the back seat of my pickup on a 110 degree day and when I came out after work, my holster looked like this.
I emailed the company and told them what had happened and they graciously sent me a whole new holster. Thanks Blade-Tech for going above and beyond.
