I wasn't clear on what folks were talking about until I saw that video. That is a bump fire. I've seen Max do it several times at our local club. He's on target and engaging. It's not unsafe and he shouldn't have been DQ'ed. But, it is the RM's call and that looks like a bad call, unless the rules specifically say no bump fire allowed.
I think that there should be a 2Gun Division as mentioned in the other thread and Carry Optics pistols can be shot in that division. It looks like there's not that many folks shooting Carry Optics in USPSA anyways so why not.
Fellas, great to hear about 2gun starting up. Although I wouldn't personally shoot that Division if it's limited to only Rifle/Pistol, I would shoot it if you were allowed to choose any 2, like the way Safariland did it.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks man, I just called them today and they said that they will make the lightweights again but there's no timeframe. So, it sounds like it could be a while..
Hey fellas -
I've been shooting a Voodoo 16.5 Ultra Lite for some time and love it. So, I was looking to get a few more to make some backup guns but it looks like it's no longer available. Can anyone suggest something similar in weight, length and with rifle gas?
Thanks for the report! I've been reading the reports on ARFCOM about the scope and it looks like another good option compared to the Vortex Strike Eagle and Primary Arms 1-6x.
Since the reticle isn't daylight bright, it sounds like it's essentially the 1-6x version of the MTAC and that was a really good scope for the money too.
So, did anyone ever get the RT6? I'm good on scopes but have a buddy that's looking at budget options so I'd like to know if the reticle is as bright as the XTRII or is only as bright as the MTAC. Thanks!
Interesting that we're not seeing any Kahles, Trijicon (except AccuPower) or Primary Arms representation so far.
PS. How many of the Others are running the Steiner P4xi 1-4x? I think it's a great budget choice as it reminds me of the Vortex Razor in 1-4x variety.
