Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Sorry guys but I searched and couldn't find the complete answer. I'm new to reloading 38 super comp and in the process of buying the essentials for my 550. I called Dillon for help and they told me I needed the 380 conversion kit. Ok, now I'm assuming I need the 38 super dies because they don't make specific 38 super comp dies. Also, do I need to buy a 38 super powder drop or do I use the 380 powder drop that comes with the conversion kit? My peanut brain is getting confused, but I want to get it right the first time. Thanks
  2. Anyone use these or have used them? Looking for some load data with vn320.. I was given a bunch and want to use them? I haven't seen much on the 190g, is it odd? Thx
  3. What's the norm OAL for the flat nose Bayous' out of a G34? If you guys don't mind....
  4. Thanks for the very informative article and I'll see what works in my G34.
  5. Ladies and Gents, I just got into reloading and I have to ask a rookie reloading question, are flat point bullet and round nose bullet OAL's the same? So, if a round nose is at 1.14 would it be the same for a flat point? I searched, but couldn't find anything on the forum. Thanks guys
  6. Hi All, I noticed for a second time in a week my G34's trigger getting progressively heavier during a range day. I cleaned the connector and the internals (not the slide), lubed it and it felt good again. Today I went to the range and after about 200 rounds, it started happening again. It has never done this before and just wondering what is going on... The springs are all TT with a Ghost connector. The springs have about 2500 k through them with a new 13 lbs recoil spring. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks..
  7. Cool what if the trigger pull is good but still spongee? What springs in particular would help that?
  8. How does one take away and/or lessesn the spongeness from Glock triggers? Different springs, etc? I'm trying to lessen the trigger pull but also take out some of the spongee feeling. Thanks
  9. Steve RA I started thinking about your spring comment, light vs heavy and variance of shots. Would a tungsten vs. steel vs plastic guide rod make a difference o nshot placement?
  10. Hey guys a quick question for you all. Is their a benefit and/or is it personal preferance that the rear sight height is shorter or taller, i.e., .225T or .250T? I ask because I'm looking at the Dawson Precision rear sights but they come in different heights but with the same width. Just wondering. Thanks to all
  11. I'm shooting a G34 with a plain black rear Warren Competition sight and a fiber optic front sight. I have used a variety of ammo ranging from 115gr to 147gr., but all are impacting low. Does anyone have and/or had any issues with Warren sights? I used a rest also and still had the same results.
  12. Rick88 and BC thanks and I'll give it a good cleaning tonight.
  13. Good Advice.. I 'll just monitor and hope its just a Glock thing. Thanks
  14. Not everywhere but primarly to the 4 and 5 o'clock area. I wouldn't have started paying attention until I saw the occassional brass going forward and/or straight up. Tnx
