Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. They are making them here, I've got one of the first 17s off the line. As mentioned above, they are not for sale in the USA. The slides and barrels are marked USA and US respectively, along with four letter and three number serial numbers.
  2. received the 940 today thanks PK

  3. After a few years of swearing by the extended releases, I've gone back to the originals. I didn't have any problems not locking back with a 17 or 34, but every once in a while my 19 wouldn't lock back. On a timer, it makes no difference for me on my reloads so out the extended parts went.
  4. He will certainly be missed. I was fortunate to get to take a class at the Rogers School last fall with him.
  5. I drove down on Friday to shoot. What a fun match! Almost all of the stages were running and gunning... my favorite thing to do. I will be back next year. Kudos to the match staff for a smooth time and thanks to the guys and gals that spend the extra time to volunteer and run these matches.
  6. I'm going to say Nightforce, but then I'm a little biased. If you have any questions on one, either 00bullitt or myself both work for the company and would be more than happy to answer any questions you have. What are you going to be using the rifle for? What caliber? What distances, environment, etc. With a little better idea in mind I could make some sort of recommendation from our product line. And to note, the NP-R1 is an MOA based reticle, while the TMR is Mil-based. If you're just getting started the MOA may be a little more intuitive, plus the fact that your adjustments would match your reticle. If you wanted a Mil based reticle take a look at the MLR or Mil-Dot with a .1 Mil-Rad adjustment. For the Leupold in particular, I don't know if they offer a TMR with a .1 Mil-Rad adjustment so take a look.
  7. Never a problem across any pistol. I guess I don't have big enough hands to worry about it.
  8. You shouldn't have any problems with rust as the "bluing" or "parkerized" finish on the barrel and slide is performed after the Tennifer/Nitride treatment. I've got a 17 and 34 that have holster wear that looks like bare metal, but I've never had to worry about rust.
  9. Unless specifically requested by an agency, the LEO Glocks come with standard connectors. I believe the dot connectors are reserved for Gen 4s with regards to blue labels.
  10. 650 for 9mm, 45 and .223 (soon to be .308) Lee Single Stage for a lot of variety in less used calibers.
  11. Congratulations GA state SS

  12. Check out the ST Action Pro version. I use their 223, 9mm, 45 and 38s as well. http://www.stactionpro.com/
  13. The three on one weekend sucks. That will be the one weekend I'll be out of town!! As much fun as any of them would be, I'm not missing my Hawaii vacation for graduation. Was there absolutely no coordination? Surely someone who approved this would have said hey, these are all in area 6 on the same weekend...
  14. Is a major event a Level II or III event or just a Level II?
  15. Another vote for the fall. The weather was amazing during the day. Like whiskey said, no bugs or heat to worry about. Having a great fall match like this one makes a nice balance of matches through the year, as area 6 is in the spring and most of the other sections are spring/summer. I like the cash payback feature, and given the entry price is highly reasonable. Either way as long as it is in the 150 and below range as well, I'm there. Out of curiosity, what was the payback breakdown for this match?
