I think it is also best to use glasses with the least amount of tint. That is to say, pick a shade that will allow the most light through, without the need to squint. I like light bronze or vermillion. I think Brian mentioned this about glasses, somewhere at some time.

See thru the peep, focus on the tip of the front sight. Do not "try" to center the front sight in the aperture window. A .040 aperture is too small for me, especially in less than optimal light conditions, shade, etc.

My connection to the 'interwebs" here in Tucson is a fast pipe. I had the same result as Patrick (but I am #221 on the waiting list at 15 sec. after 5:00). I just tried some Concannon Irish Whiskey. It is finish aged in Concannon Petit Sirah barrels. Not for everyone, but I like it with a nice Padron maduro cigar. Concannon is made by the Cooley distillery in concert with Concannon Vineyards.
