I don't reload .40, but I've been reading all about it for the past ten years :)

Yes, a lot of people reload .40 (and 9mm) with a Lee U-die - it helps

prevent couple of problems, especially bullet set back - if you're loading

.40 Major, you don't want bullet set back. :)

Sometimes. If I have mixed range brass (mine plus possible others from a messy range) I will use it to try to minimize the chance of having Glocked brass (bulged at base brass not resized). It seems to do better than my normal Hornday die at getting to the bottom
