paul788
You probably want to have this moved to the reloading section. Paul
Hi-Power Jack
I don't reload .40, but I've been reading all about it for the past ten years Yes, a lot of people reload .40 (and 9mm) with a Lee U-die - it helps prevent couple of problems, especially bullet set back - if you're loading .40 Major, you don't want bullet set back. bubbadoc
Sometimes. If I have mixed range brass (mine plus possible others from a messy range) I will use it to try to minimize the chance of having Glocked brass (bulged at base brass not resized). It seems to do better than my normal Hornday die at getting to the bottom
Edge40
Yes I run the U die in 40. Thats what I started with so I can't really say what problems it may have prevented. All I know is I don't have any complaints with it.
