jhgtyre
I used to yell at my kids for that one. That and coming to the range with pants that didn't have belt loops. Who buys jeans without belt loops?
ClangClang
I've done that more times than I care to admit over the years. I now pull all my mags as soon as I get back to my bag after each stage. I make it a point to reload all mags, clean anything, address anything technical, etc all before I do anything else. No bathroom, water, chit-chat, or anything until I'm ready to shoot the next COF. Dr Mitch
Never put used mags on your belt. Always wear cargo shorts or pants so that you can plop your empties in the big pocket while walking around during scoring.
Scrmblr
Any mag I've used goes in a pocket or backwards in a pouch.

EngineerEli
I always put the used mags into my mag pouches backwards, then go back to my back and reload them first thing. It is also part of my make ready routine to press each mag down into the mag pouch to make sure they don't fall out when I run, and make sure they are all facing forward. (ie. loaded!) CZinZA
Magnets are great for holding used mags after a course of fire. That way there's no chance of confusion - anything on my magnet gets reloaded Sent by Jedi mind control
